This is very odd! There is a story on Wag's release but nothing on the Wilson trade which happened before that.

Yes, he passed the physical and signed the no trade waiver, and was at dinner yesterday with
the Broncos mgmt.
The players coming back here might not have completed their physicals yet, though so the trade
wouldn’t be ready to announce.

They won't announce it till the official start of the league year next Wednesday, they never do. Teams can have these deals in place but none of it is official till then.

Yep, the trade can't be 'official' until the start of the new season on March 16th, which is why free agency begins on that date.
