All the lights on the dash are on, and the car's not running..
That's his history ... why should things change?
How about another trip to Switzerland ... or the AFL.

Yes Rice is fragile. But he knows the system, coaches, and players. A rook is going to need a couple years to figure things out and a FA at least half a season. Rice isn't an outside burner, but he does have some height, a quality the O needs at receiver. And my eyeballs tell me that his hands are still pretty good; I don't remember him being too prone to drops. Plus he's happy here. That's one of those "non-statistically measurables" (intangibles) that I am fond of pointing out. Happy guys in the locker room and on the field play for each other and not just themselves. They BELIEVE that the course they have set upon is the right one. They commit to the system and BUY IN. And in case you haven't noticed yet, this is a huge part of Pete Carroll's success.
This is a good thing, getting Rice back.

I wish the veteran minimum was lowered because in the case of people like Rice even the vet minimum is about twice as much as he's worth.
I hope the dude injures himself in the preseason and retires. Otherwise we will end up cutting a young (and better) WR and then regret it within a few weeks after Rice suffers his inevitable injury.
Get the injury over with quickly so you can get a head start on retirement.

Man, that's over the top. You're actually wishing harm on a fellow human being, let alone a fellow Hawk?

Not condoning what he said, but have you ever visited 49erZone?
