Series on draft possibility on you tube

Gotta hand it to you, Apeman.

Monkey's banging the drum for Billy Turner from North Dakota State has caught the attention of rap impresario Russell Simmons and partners.

They are producing a series of cameos of small school players, who are relatively unknown.

The "trailer" (which is actually in front towing everything else) is now available to tease your interests.

The series will begin "very soon", and there will be eight episodes on this guy.

And who did they choose for the trailer but Monkey's guy, Billy Turner, or North Dakota State.

So, go to you tube, type in: "DrIVEN Billy Turner", and you will see the trailer.

Don't know how much meat we will get in the series, but you draftniks might wanna mark this as a favorite ... eight episodes.

And I don't know who else, if anyone, the series will feaure.

Yeah, Monkey, I liked him as maybe our second rounder a few weeks ago.

From the K-State game in your link, he looks like a high effort guy with good feet and athleticism. He could probably help against some of the edge rushers in the NFL we will be playing against.
He doesn't look big enough to handle bull rushes at the NFL level, but some guys carry their weight much better than others.

Two questions for those who have seen him a lot:
1) How is his technique? Some players that dominate at lower levels get lazy with their technique because they don't have to use it. From that one game he looked pretty good.
2) How well does he do in the power run game that Cable/Carroll want? There was a lot of good pass pro in that game, but if he has problems moving DL on run plays, they might not be interested.

Props to monkey and Bird:)

Here's a YouTube clip interview. I like the kid's mindset and attitude.

He seems well spoken and mature as well as he understands that you have to learn from those who went before you and the importance of passing that on to those that follow.
It should suit him well in the NFL where he will have a large learning curve like all rookies.

Awesome!
:D
Anyone else notice that one of those comments about Turner in the video came from someone wearing a Seahawks hat?
Foreshadowing? ;)

I'd just like to see us get some "fire" up front in terms of attitude. It's about the only thing I liked about Breno. He lacked talent, but had toughness in that regard.

Adopt the LOB approach for the OL moving forward. Wouldn't that be something.

It's been suggested that I need a LOB otomy, Z man,

But I agree with you completely on a "fire man" to replace that Breno

Sometimes to start a fire, sometimes to put one out when a member of the competition takes a shot at Russell Will..

Every once in a while Unger shows some heat, and Bowie might be the guy to step into it.

But, I have little question Cable and the scouting crew have got that "nasty attitude" right up there with long arms and big hands and athleticism when they are evaluating.

And, I hope anyone bringing "attitude" brings an "infectious attitude".

It just reinforces the "Legion of Boom" in a different neighborhood.

While I like Kouandjio and Richardson at T (along with Turner), it appears both of them are more the silent, erene or even shrinking violet type.

Turner has nasty.

As long as our starting 5 up front can block, I'll take just about any personality they got. The "Fire" would be the ICing on the OL cake.
