Week 12 was a good one forAgent 86 as he won both the points battle (76) and straight up (10-5)!

Which extends his season long lead in both at 964 points and 115-64 mark (which according to Pickwatch puts him tied for 13 best among the national media "experts")!

Good luck in week 13!

It's a crazy game. I am in 2d place in points, but have one of the worst W/L records. Does that mean I am throwing my weight around?

Well here we are waiting on the Superb Owl, we all know the eventual winner of our contest but we'll wait till it's over to put a bow on it for propriety reasons.

In the Championship round ObS won with 16 points and a 1-1 mark! On the Season Agent 86 maintains his stranglehold with 1597 points and a 182-101 mark!

Good Luck for the Super Bowl y'all!

I have alerted the local paper and television crew who will be coming over next Sunday to cover the event. And I have alot of family flying into town for the big moment. Only thing left open is if I will get a personal visit from C_Bob himself to present the trophy and big cash award to me. :D

Don't remember going in a pool where there was no "prize" at the end, but this was alot of fun. First time doing a pool with "confidence" points which was a unique way of doing it really made you think about each game. Glad I was part of it this year.

Thanks C_Bob for the weekly updates and for organizing! I may have to take the plunge in the 3 Deep Draft pool in April.

Never thought about doing a money pool but it wouldn't be hard, everybody would have to agree to paypal as a means (I wouldn't want several different payment types) and it wouldn't be major money, a few bucks a head, winner take all and low score gets their money back as a booby prize maybe ... not sure if that would fly by the site rules or anything thouh ...

Congratulations, Agent 86! I guess I have to reluctantly give up my Hawkshack league champion title to you. You blew all of us away during a season that was incredibly hard to forecast. I much prefer this game vs. Fantasy Football as it's much less time consuming and it generates interest in every game.

Thanks for managing the league and for the weekly updates, Cbob! I'm good with a modest fee if that's what the group decides, but like 86 noted, it's not necessary for it to hold my attention. There might be another way to fund it besides Pay Pal, like a GoFundMe account, and we could do it on a voluntary basis, make a rule that you must donate before the start of the season to be eligible for the pot. It's something we can discuss later this August.
