Jared Goff has committed 39 turnovers in the past two seasons, most in the league over that period of time. That pick he threw yesterday was unexplainable, a first down play, not a receiver within 10 yards, and not in imminent danger of a sack. It was an unforced error. Can't do that in a low scoring game. Goff has been a huge liability for the Rams over the past two years.
I am not taking a single thing away from our defense. Our mid season turnaround has been phenomenal. Yesterday was perhaps the best defensive effort we've had in the past 3-4 years even taking into consideration the opposing QB. I just want to see us against a real, HOF quality quarterback before I break out the anointing oil.
