Merry Christmas!

Postby NorthHawk » Fri Dec 25, 2020 7:38 am

I hope everyone is safe in this unusual year and stays well until we all get our vaccinations if applicable and life gets back to normal or at least what will be a new normal.
Best wishes to all and their families and loved ones.

I'll second that! Merry Christmas to all the members of my online family!

And Obi, it might be 20 years for you, but it's closer to 15 for me as I started posting the year we went to XL.

Merry Christmas! Let's hope the Seahawks can do some damage in the playoffs to make this terrible year a little bit better.

Merry Christmas Shack! I hope you all know how much I appreciate all of you, especially during a year like no other. It's nice to have a second little home here on the web. Like any other family it can be dysfunctional at times...but at the end of the day it truly is a family. That's what I appreciate the most.

No Ka 'Oi, nice!

There was a biker club back in the day called the No Ka Oi, they still about? I used to hang with them a little bit, I didn't ride but they all liked my Camaro and it was handy for hauling a keg or two to the beach (usually across the Pali just south of Bellows, can't remember the name of the beach)!

The biker club is still here and does the Christmas gift ride every year (not sure about this year) and collects toys to distribute. They are not your typical 'biker' gang and very well respected.
I think you're talking about Waimanalo Beach park, which is a mile from Bellows (now closed to non-military, which is a total bummer). And, of course, having a keg or two for the boys will always get you in the door, no matter what you drive (or ride)

They were then too, which is why I referred to them as a club rather than a gang. A stripper I knew (I bounced at her bar, the Lollipop Club) was married to a shipyard rigger that was a member, that's how we got to hanging out. And yeah that sounds like the right beach! Too bad it's not open to the public anymore.
