We didn’t take any deep shots, except the one that got intercepted (looked like it was supposed to be a max protect deep shot). They began to bring a S up because everybody knew the Hawks were running. Frustrating...

The offense was inexplicably bad for most of the game. And our defense, after a solid start suddenly sucked for most of the 4th quarter, but boy did they step up that final minute!

At the end of the day we clinched a playoff spot, now we just need to get our shibit together for the Lambs.

Honestly, we played a team on a 4 game win streak including handling an 11-0 team. We played at 10 AM on the east coast. They have an excellent head coach who knows Seattle and Russ Wilson very well.
They are a legit top 5 defense with a young mobile QB with a strong arm and not much film. I think Seattle just tried to kill too much clock in the second half and Russ had a bad day throwing the ball and we still won. I'll take it. Playoffs baby. Bring on the lambs.

Yeah I agree, and Pete was extremely pleased with the offensive performance saying this was a game plan designed to neutralize WFT's strength - allowing the Hawks to run the ball and keep the rush off RW and "they totally did it. We ran the ball well and kept them from hitting the QB." We had 181 yards rushing - 7.0 average. So, if that was the plan, we have no basis for complaining.
TriCitySam wrote:We got it going a little in the 4th. The pick was not a bad throw, just a great play by Sweat. Also the PF on KJ was bogus. Really, a pretty good performance against a hot team
TriCitySam wrote:" It wasn't an extraordinary defensive play or some sort of fluke"
It was a good defensive play, on a timing play normally a DE wouldn't be out out there and he got pretty high. I don't see a tipped INT like that as a bad play by the QB.

What a moron. People are saying that maybe he won the starting spot back and then he goes out to a strip club after the game, just stupid.

And now they released him... crazy. What a waste of talent and quick fall. All the talk during our game was how much he had changed, and he looked decent during our game. Now he’s gone.
