Not quite sure why you think it's ok to use a petty nickname like this to another man, but then again you've always been kind of a negative nebbish. I'll chalk it up to someone that can't help but exhibit such petty immaturity.

Aseahawkfan wrote:If he's not willing to pull the trigger to get rid of Ken Norton, then he'll have to accept the blame himself. Head Coach has to know when things are not going the way he knows they should, especially if he is a defensive specialist. I imagine Ken and Pete's friendship is pretty tight and he wants to give Ken a long rope.
NorthHawk wrote:It's not Norton. The talent isn't there and they didn't do much in the off season to fix the DL.
I think it's Schneider and the talent evaluators who are not running on all cylinders. Maybe they aren't
getting orders on what to look for or maybe they've lost some really good people, but this has been going
on for a number of years now. There's no way a team that is serious about going deep into the playoffs can
field a Defense as poor as ours and really expect to succeed.

RiverDog wrote:I didn't like that last play call in regulation. Our best running back, Chris Carson, was out of the game, and Arizona was already out of timeouts, meaning there was less of a concern of an incompletion helping them save a timeout. I don't like taking the ball out of the hands of the top player in the league in critical moments like that unless they saw something obvious. I would have rather seen some type of play action or RPO and let Russ cook.
RiverDog wrote:The other problem I had was with our defense was on the first play in OT after the interception. We give up the ball at midfield with roughly a minute to go and our corners are playing 8-10 yards off the AZ receivers when all they need is a FG for a win? Even the individual players ought to know better than that. As soon as they completed that first pass to Hopkins, I knew we were finished.
Our coaching staff, when they saw our D come out in that alignment, should have called timeout and gotten them up to the LOS.
