Well, no, 5-0 is always good. However we have squeeked by 5 teams that are a combined 9-19 (.321). Next 5 are 17-11 (.607)

We've had a few clutch games, but damn...we're showing that we're a clutch team. As frustrating and tense as it is, it's making for some good football! As we've all said, time to get a good cardiologist.

I believe what I heard one commentator say about Seattle this weekend is largely true: "They play to the level of their opponent."

This was like sneaking a rising sun past a rooster. How were we able to get 5 games into a season without Sis's disaster thread?!

Not even I, (Dr. Doom) can snivel about 5-0. However River, we havent exactly been in there against Godzilla yet. The good news is we would really have to flub hard not to beat Wa, Jets, Giants, and Philly. 12 and 4 seems in the bag!

What? From Obi! I was thinking 12-4 seems like a safe bet if we can go 3-2 over the next 5, but in the bag! I'll take it!!

These are all subjective, & different sites have teams ranked differently, but Seattle is somewhere in the lower ⅓ in strength of schedule rankings.
http://powerrankingsguru.com/nfl/strength-of-schedule.php
Our next 5 opponents are:
@Cardinals
49ers
@Bills
@Rams
Cardinals
The combined winning percentage of these teams is 19-11 or .633
If we can stay healthy, we should be able to make 8-2 or 9-1 (3-2 or 4-1 over the next 5 games), we'll be looking rock solid for the homestretch.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. The Rams always play us tough and the Cards are no pushovers either in that regard.
The Bills have a much better balanced team than us and it's going to be difficult to win in their park.
It wouldn't surprise me to end up 7-3 after the next 5 games.

Sorry to be so late with the annual post, but it made it funnier, IMHO. :lol:

To all those who say “we could easily be 1-4,” I say “yeah sure, but we aren’t.” Remember our super bowl year?? We almost lost to some pretty sh!tty teams (a la winless Tampa Bay), and we didn’t.

Ugh - Bill Leavy. Dear Bill, I don’t care that you had sleepless nights, and yes we know, you did alter the outcome of the game.... :evil:

Go Hawks!

Yea, I think we lost to a bad Jacksonville team in September of that year, too. In any event, it's always good to see you again!

What we learned: Patriots aren’t that good, injuries or not, 49’ers aren’t that bad. I’m thinking Bill missesTom more than Tom misses Bill.
