Britt and Richardson in for visits

Postby NorthHawk » Thu Aug 27, 2020 7:44 am

I wonder if the experiment with Pocic and Finney isn't going very well with the Seahawks bringing
in Justin Britt and Paul Richardson in for visits with management. This would fill an experience void
on the OL if Britt was healthy enough to be re-signed and Richardson could add another big play
prospect for Russ in the event Josh Gordon isn't reinstated to the NFL.

Not sure about Pocic, but Finney doesn't seem to be working out and is at risk of not making the team:

Rather than Pocic and Finney, what could be driving the Seahawks to bring Britt in is the suspension of Kyle Fuller for PED's.

I think if they re-signed Britt, he would be the clear starter so in my mind they aren't particularly happy
with the choices currently offered. Their usual M.O. is that they would sign Britt at a much lower Salary
Cap hit than his previous contract. But we've seen this regime under value the Center position before when
they traded Unger without any type of viable replacement.

I'd like to see PRich in blue & green once again. Besides his circus catch ability, his mom works in my Dr's office.

Apparently they signed Richardson today.
Makes for a crowded WR group.

I would have rather had Britt. I suppose they could still sign him, but it's hard to imagine still having enough leftover to get a pass rusher under contract.

You too buddy. I needed a break.
Make sure you hit me up if you come to Vegas again Dog, maybe this time we can get you over to the house. I've got a 70" tv now.

Thanks for the invite, my friend! I'll give you a heads up next time I'm down there although I doubt that it will be before I get my vaccination, hopefully by March Madness.
