I'll have you know that I spent 3 hours on this POS, so no making fun of it!

If I get a point, I'll be happy.

RiverDog wrote:I like Taylor, too, but I just can't see any team spending their #1 on a running back twice in three years.

RiverDog wrote:The odds. How many teams have taken a RB with their #1 in two out of three drafts? I haven't researched it, but my guess is that there's not very many.
Running back is not considered a high value position, and not many go in the first round. Taylor is not a consensus top of his class RB. He could easily drop into the 2nd round where we currently have two selections.
Carson and Penny have both made substantial progress in their rehabs. Additionally, there's a strong likelihood that the season will be delayed, abbreviated, or even canceled, which would give them even more time to recover.
Since we haven't signed either Clowney or Griffen, there's going to be even more pressure to take an edge rusher with our top pick, perhaps even trade up if someone we really like is within our reach.

NorthHawk wrote:With the Seahawks setting their identity as a tough running team, I think it's much more probable that they select a RB very early - maybe their first pick after factoring in their top 3 RBs ended up on IR and Carson will be on the last year of his contract. It wouldn't surprise me if they took 2 RBs this year.
NorthHawk wrote:In any event, we'll probably see in about 30 hours or so.
NorthHawk wrote:Moss is a lot like Carson, but he has an injury history, too. I'm not sure they would want another injury history at RB. I heard a comment in a podcast where one of the commenters said they heard Carsons' injury is worse than has been stated. They didn't say anything more, so I'll put it down to only being a rumor. In any event, we'll probably see in about 30 hours or so.

Taylor should go pretty early tonight - and it won't be here but who knows if they look at this draft and decide there is a player they really want and trade up in the 2nd with one of their 4th round picks?
What!!! River & Tri City won??? But look at how many they missed.![]()
