Four Seahawks elected to the "All Decade Team": Marshawn Lynch, Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Pete Carroll.

Nice. That was one of the best defenses of all time. That Super Bowl performance against the Peyton led Broncos was legendary.

I was watching Kam highlights just the other day.

It both hurts and lifts my soul to see the level of play from those days not so long ago. The entire league had to respect that defense and earn every inch.

And Bobby Wagner didn't get near enough attention. The Keuchley love affair was overwhelming. Granted, Keuchley is a hell of a linebacker, but Wagner is every bit his equal.

My bad, I saw Bobby on there and didn't include him in the post. Tough call on the QB, can't argue against Brady and with RW not passing a lot, I see Rogers getting the nod. But Kam definitely should have made it.

My thoughts exactly. I can't stand Rogers, but he deserved it over RW.

And Weddle over Kam is a f'ing joke.

HOW? Did he deserve it over Wilson?? Most playoff wins, Wilson; Most head to head, Wilson; most wins against playoff teams, Wilson. Most 4 quarter comebacks, Wilson by far. RW has had warmed over dog food lines, and AR the always good ones. RW has had Garbage to throw to, AR the best. Russell Wilson is the most underrated QB in my lifetime, AR the most overrated.

Look, I LOVE Wilson and agree he's the most underrated QB in my lifetime, too. He'd be my #3 of the decade. But Rogers was a 2-time MVP and 1st Team All Pro, was the Super Bowl MVP, had the best passer rating twice (including the all-time best mark of 122.5), best TD-to-INT ratio and rating of all QBs ever, and several times leading the INT and TD ratio stats (some of the most important, IMO). I tend to discount head-to-head completely, and even wins to some extent because of the importance of defense. In the Super Bowl win, for example, the defense was far, far more valuable than RW.

FWIW, I think Brady is the most overrated QB of all time. Still deserves to be on the All-Decade Team and is in the conversation for the GOAT, but I credit more of the Pats' success to Belichick. I'm REALLY curious to see how Brady does next year in Tampa. Maybe I'll eat my words, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's league-average for the Bucs.

If we're talking the best since Russell entered the league I go with Russ, but this is for the 2010- 2019 decade and the two years Rodgers had before Russ' arrival on the scene IMO justify Aaron's place as #2 of the decade.

I'm a huge Eric Weddle fan but it does feel like some of these voters must have decided that there were enough Seahawks on the team and were reaching a little putting Eric in there over Bam Bam. It's a travesty, while Earl may be a better overall player than Kam I'd argue that Chancellor had a greater impact on opposing offenses. He deserves the spot on that team.

Russ still playing in his prime. He has time to add a lot to his stats while Rodgers is on he downhill of his career. I'd much rather see Russ add another ring or two. That will push him far up the ladder along with the stats. We need another serious run at it all.

Kam was a freak of nature for a safety. I'm surprised he isn't on there.

Wow, yeah, surprising Kam didn't make it. Weddle is a nice player but he isn't the fear-inducing monster Kam was. I guess being very good for a longer period of time trumps being a game wrecker for a shorter period.

I think the qb's are right and was an easy choice. For a 3-4 year stretch, I think Rodgers was the best player in football.

I'm generally not too enamored with individual recognitions like an All Decade team, but I'll go ahead and weigh in.

I would have put Kam on the team, too. He was without question the hardest hitting safety of his era and had the same effect on our defense that Beast had on our offense. We were arguably the 2nd best team of the decade, and Kam was a key component.

But I can understand the argument against his inclusion. Kam's longevity is the main issue. He played at high level only for about 3 years. He wasn't the same player after he returned from his holdout as he was prior. His holdout was one of the major events that led to the demise of our mini dynasty from 2012-14. I can't help but believe that his holdout weighed heavily in his failure to be selected.
