New Kicker?

We are paying JM a boatload to kick FG's, and he is missing. Is it time to get a new kicker?

He's an average kicker. I don't know how much we're paying him but he's certainly better than Walsh was.

A 50 yarder in the cold is hardly a ditch your kicker moment.

True. It was around 20 degrees at game time. As any baseball player or golfer can tell you, the colder it is, the denser the air and the less the ball travels. It was a 50/50..or less...proposition for any kicker.

Agreed. The conditions at the time make it unfair to get upset at him. He probably tried to swing his leg extra hard to compensate for cold air and it was not a natural motion.
