So far it looks like they made good decisions based on their play and record.

Go whip the dog out of Atlanta and get Quinn fired. Can Norton and hire Quinn to coach up one of the best front 7s in the league on paper that isn't doing squat and a decent back end including Blair who looks very promising. That's the free agent we need.

Based on his record with Atlanta and that sieve of a defense, he doesn’t look like a savior to me. Bottom line is Pete has basically run the same defense since the beginning of his tenure and its gotten stale + the horses don’t fit the scheme as well as thy once did.
That coupled with the offense having to be close to perfect every game is a recipe for one and done in the playoffs. That is assuming the Hawks finish no worse than 10-6. Nothing more than a pretender and early exit in the playoffs at this point. Can’t wait to see how far down the Hawks play to the competition this week. I predict a 3 point win in the closing minutes. Let just hope that field goal is a chip shot and not 45+ to win.

To be fair, there were other reasons besides their off field behavior that led to their departure, in particular, Sherman's injury, and we might have come to terms with ET had he not held out while he was still under contract, and there was no evidence prior to that holdout that ET had a bad attitude. But there's no doubt that one of the reasons why we parted ways with Sherman and Bennett was their attitudes.
obiken wrote:If you remember, Kam held out and we caved, I said at the time that was a mistake. He got injured and that was it for him. ET thought, or was led to believe, that he would get the same deal or treatment, not a chance. After KC went down, the Hawks were not going to negotiate under the gun again.
]We didn't cave on Kam. He came back w/o a new deal:Chancellor, who had been holding out in hopes of getting his contract restructured, told ESPN's Stephen A. Smith that he intends to revisit his contract situation after the season.[/i]

Brown ain't signing with anyone until he resolves his legal problems. Anyone try to read/decipher his twitter remarks? Our school system sure did fail that idiot.
