I'm conflicted. Obviously hes a great player and we need him but dammit if a guy puts his hands on a woman or anyone weaker than him which in his case is most everyone he doesn't get a lot of sympathy here. Yes the league discipline program is hard to understand but still....Its ironic Clark fell to seattle due to character concerns then they ship him off after several years as a model citizen and now this

HT, we did not ship off Clark, there is no way with RW's contract we could afford him. KC is not in the 2nd phase of Patrick Mahomes contract yet, so they can. Reed was not arrested, or charged, so I am thinking he just got pissed at her and threatened her. No doubt that is my take. However, its been 2 years and now they suspend him, come on.

This is all about image. Whether or not a player is found guilty or even charged is irrelevant to league brass. They just want to make sure they don't lose any of the fan base from the "Me too" crowd. You'll see more of this in the future as the league brass become more "sensitive" to cultural values.

Yup. I don't know of any other employer that would discipline an employee over a non work related incident in which no charges were filed.

Not saying that I disagree with their policy as they are in the public eye and they do make a ton of money, but there is no question that it is motivated by their PR image.
