Way Too Early 2020 Election Thread

Postby idhawkman » Fri Dec 28, 2018 1:18 pm

I didn't really see anywhere to post this in the existing current threads so I thought I'd add this one.

I just saw a poll of most popular Male and Female figures of 2018 and thought it was a bit interesting.

Female:

Michelle Obama (replaces Hilliary as #1 who held the spot for the last 5 years) 15%
Oprah Winfrey 5%
Hilliary Clinton 4%

Men:

Obama (ineligible for reelection) 19%
Trump 13%
George W. Bush 4%
Joe Biden 1%

This should make for an interesting 2020 election cycle since from the looks of this poll, the best opponent for Trump (AT THIS TIME) is Michelle Obama.

First we have to see if Trump survives the Democrats and Mueller's attack on him.

Trumps only chance at reelection is if Hillary runs again and dem party insiders have laughed at the thought . She whiffed against the worst most unpopular republican candidate ever to win because she was the worst ever democratic candidate. I don’t think trump will be the party’s candidate. He will either be impeached, indicted and imprisoned or choose not to run, perhaps as some sort of plea bargain to save himself and his kids . As for the Dems they are making the same mistake as the repubs made last cycle with reportedly 20 + candidates allowing the most outlandish to capture the delegates in early winner take all states while more capable candidates knock each other out. At least it won’t be the rigged democrat primaries last cycle that coronated a terrible candidate who barely beat a fat sloppy socialist who combed his hair with a rock. Personally I’m rooting for impeachment indictment or resignation because I’ll vote for pence. Better yet a primary challenge by Nikki Haley , Ben sasse , John Kasich, Jeff Flake or Bob Corker. Any of them would be a huge improvement over the cluster f##ck going on now.
