As for the Chiefs, they've outright cut Hunt now claiming this video shows he lied to them in their internal investigation ... maybe so. In this aspect I can accept waiting to see what other information may bring.
As for the NFL, I have a hard time believing Goodell hasn't seen that tape prior to TMZ releasing it. I'm about done with him.

I just hate that it takes the video being made public for the NFL (and the Chiefs in this instance) to take action. Goodell should be suspended without pay for a year and the Chiefs fined an obscene amount of money if they knew about this before now (it happened in February, you know damn well they did) ...

Who the hell are they to decide that because it doesn't meet their criteria for prosecution it's not the business of the perpetrator's employers?
Not sure I believe they did, we'll see what they have to say now that the NFL and the Chiefs have pointed the finger at them.

I can't for the life of me understand a wife/woman beater. All I can say is that isn't how I was raised.

From what I've heard talking to the younger generation, the whole male-female equality movement has successfully taught them that "protect the female" is no longer the societal standard. If a female gets out of line verbally or physically, then you treat them like you would a dude.
Fortunately, the PC movement is making sure any kind of altercation is viewed poorly regardless of gender.
When you teach an entire generation of males that females are their equal, you're going to get this more often. Most of us older men (other than Sean Connery) were very much taught not to strike females save in extreme self-defense, but these younger males are raised with a greater sense of equity to put it kindly. Remember, we're all equal, even physically regardless of genetics or biology.

This guys in his prime. He will play again. Zeke is playing, Joe Mixon is on tape knocking out a woman and he got drafted in the second round".
