I wouldn't start turning backflips because of one game against a team that has yet to win a road game. Beating the Panthers back there is going to be a monumental challenge and critical if we are to get back into the playoff hunt. Cam and McCaffery are both having solid seasons and they're undefeated at home. It's a 10:00am east coast start.
Last night was an ugly win, marred by penalties and missed opportunities. Russell had a really bad game in the 1st half as his accuracy has been off recently. Fortunately we had what remains a solid running game no matter who's packing the rock.

Something wrong. Don't see it, it's not obvious, but that missed TD to Doug proves it. Never seen that before. Lots of over and underthrows the last 3 weeks.

Edit: To clarify, it wouldn't surprise me if we won all 3 either. I just don't understand assuming we go 3-0 in those games. Our division is always a dog fight, even if the teams are that equal on paper or by record. Our division always plays each other tough. I don't see these games being so easy we can just assume victories and skip over them like some people seem to be suggesting.

Bottom line is that this is a must win game for us if we are to advance to the playoffs.

The KC really is irrelevant to the playoff hunt IMHO as its exceedingly unlikely that Minnesota, Carolina, Washington, and Philly don't drop at least 1 if not 2 in some of their cases ( especially Minnesota and Carolina.... and I wouldn't be shocked to see Washington finish the season at .500 or worse).
I don't see Seattle's main competition coming from anyone but possibly philly and Minnesota..... handle your business against Arizona and SF, find a way to beat Minnesota by hook or by crook.... they are in the postseason travelling to Dallas or Chicago ( barring a collapse by Dallas, which honestly helps Seattle as they own the tiebreaker, and removes philly from WC equation).... personally, if Seattle is going to be a WC, I prefer they play either of those teams in the postseason on the road....

I wouldn't want to travel to Chicago in January. They're a tough defensive team that's already played us and Russell hasn't played well in poor weather conditions. I'll take any team in the East on the road vs. going to Chicago.

I haven't followed his career too much so he might have some history in cold/snow games but I know it won't be the speed track he's used to in Oakland this time of year. (Has he ever played in the post season? Do we know if his body can hold up to a 16+ game season?)
