They have been penalized for a lot of things, alot of which the repeat. The evidence still supports he is not 100%

By all means proceed to make your case, with irrefutable proof that the coaches, trainers, Wilson, 85% of fans, can't see.... and no, Mike Rob or some announcers, nor your insistence of some weird gate in his run, isn't it, so I would be very interested to discover why most don't see it, Carroll and co are ok with losing mid to early round draft picks, and Wilson himself can't feel it...

Go....

Dude I already made the case and fyi remember a few years ago when Wilson has several injuries? Well he came off the injured list and at the end PC said he was not 100% all year, guess what they got in no trouble, so that excuse you are using is BS but you already know it. The fact is he was on the report, the fact is no one has stated he is 100%, the fact is alot of fans without their agenda is in effect, have said they see it to include a few on this board I would think you respect but could be you respect no one. Mike Rob said it and he has ins into the team, the announcers have pointed out in almost every game. The fact you refuse to even consider the idea says a lot. But again the fact support he is not 100% and you have provided little to prove otherwise.

No.... sorry, you haven't. If your 100% certainty stems on some old history, Mike robs opinion, some regurgitation from game announcers, and your personal belief in some weird gate that most don't see, and haven't seen in weeks, your a long way from proving diddly, except you're seeing what you want to see...

It's ok to acknowledge players aging. I promise, eventually, Seattle and the 12s will have to say goodbye to him as well, whether through Seattle's decision or his retirement. It's going to happen, same as it did with Largent, Walt, Easley, Beast, Hasselbeck, Alexander,Tatupu, Sherman, Chancellor, Bennett, Avril, Green, Nash, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. The sooner you realize and accept it, the better it will be for you.

Edit: he wasn't on the report, pre or post game, you can't be bothered to click the links, you wonder why people don't provide them when you demand them again? Hmmm...

I didn't claim to be able to prove anything, that was you. You haven't provided squat, except what you want to believe. Until you do, I'm good with accepting what I've seen, as well as Wilson, the team's, and the bulk of fans eyes, as opposed to the "belief, conjecture, and hope" of someone that's over 6 yrs providing excuses for every mistake, misstep, or errant throw.

I know it's crazy , but I'm going to stick to it.

Per you there was "no doubt", which means nobody can doubt it. Clearly that's an obvious false statement ( as there's quite a bit on this board, Wilson himself disagrees, and the Seahawks) so you'll forgive me, if I don't just blindly take the word of somebody claiming to have evidence that he's 100% dealing with an injury ( ...an injury that just so happens to be trumpeted every time he has a bad throw, or gets sacked, or gets caught, or plays poorly by the same said person).

Here's how this works, if you actually have evidence or facts you build your case, and attempt to prove your point. If however that proof is 100% subjective ( ie the announcers said it, mike rob said it, and I noticed a weird gate that no one else save a handful that think exactly like me) ..then it isn't proof, or evidence, but conjecture and speculation.

There’s just too much to lose by not reporting it.

I was going to mention that. Thanks for doing it for me. It just a couple years ago that Pete got into hot water by not listing Sherman on the injury report, and there were rumors floating around that we could lose as much as a 2nd round draft choice. If it were revealed that the Hawks were concealing an injury to a high profile quarterback, particularly a player like Russell of which his mobility and elusiveness is such a huge part of his game and undoubtedly affect how defenses game plan against us, we could potentially pay a huge price.

I'm not sure if they'd tie them together, but we've been found guilty on 3 previous occasions of a procedural rule, contact drills during mini camps, the last one costing us a 5th round draft choice. And of course, there's the incident with Sherman's injury.

RiverDog wrote:Losing yesterday made the TNF game an almost must win if we are to make the playoffs, and even if we win, it's going to be an uphill struggle as we're looking at the meat of our schedule. Hawktalk is right, this isn't a typical Packer team. They can be had, especially on the road. We lose this game and we'll be looking down the barrel of a 6-10 season.

Looking at the schedule, we do need to beat GB, MN and the Panthers to have a logical shot at the playoffs.

The East is going to be won by the skins and the #2 vying for a playoff spot will be the Boys since they just beat the Eagles.

The south is going to be won by the Saints and vying for the Wildcard there is going to be the Panthers.

The North just might be won by the Bears, and the Pack along with vikings will vy for the WC in that division.

So we hold the tie breaker over the boys, if we beat the panthers we will own that tie breaker and that leaves us beating the Pack and Vikes to have a good chance at winning all head to head tie breakers.

I've spent a good part of yesterday and today watching the Hawks-Rams replay. I honestly can't see anything unusual in his gait that would indicate an injury of any kind and so far, I've seen one of his patented spin moves. He looks perfectly healthy to me. Yes, he's obviously a step or two slower, but there's no doubt that Father Time is marching towards him like it does with all of us.

When watching the replays I noticed that he moved okay when he went to his right but rarely carried it going left save for the last offensive play of the game where he over threw Lockett. I think Pete said he has problems going one direction, if looking at the game replay is any indication, that would be to his left.

This time of year, all I look at is the loss column. I don't start looking at playoff scenarios until after Thanksgiving weekend. Either way, both tomorrow and next weekend's games are critical if we are to stay in the hunt.

Guess if there indeed is blinders on, that's preferable to the alternative which would be you.... that being simply blind....

The idea that after a half decade providing excuse, after excuse, after excuse ranging the entire spectrum of life claiming someone else, whos football knowledge jock you aren't worthy of looking at, much less holding, has the blinders on just reaffirms it ( not that it's needed with in depth analysis like, you know I was watching the line, and they struggle more in obvious passing downs).

Carry on believing you know things you don't, and spew your irrelevant babble to your heart's content. Enjoy clueless.

Lose either of the next two it's almost certainly an early exit from the season. Win them and it's still daunting. IMO the only loss we can stand is Chiefs and have a shot. Might not be able to catch Carolina anyway.

Oh well. I remember sitting with my buddy at the Clink watching the Az loss that dropped them to 4-5 in 2015 and saying on the way out of the stadium"they are not making the playoffs". Lynches Momma tweeting hate on Wilson. Sky was falling

All that happened was wilson going off for 20 TD passes and 1 pick and a 6-1 finish with the only loss being the Rams. Then the Ice bowl in Minny and falling just short after being down 31-0 in Carolina in the divisional round.

This is why they play 16 games. Russ has never been underwater 2 games in the second half of the season in his pro career and obviously the team hasn't been in 7 years. Lets see what happens.

Until we're mathematically eliminated, there's always a chance that we could catch lightning in a bottle, and I'll always keep watching and hoping for that possibility no matter what our situation is. And some of those teams ahead of us, such as the Panthers, whom in addition to a date with us still have to play the Saints twice, and the Vikings, who will get the Packers followed by road trips out here and to New England. A lot of things can happen.

But I'm also a realist, and the reality is just as you said it in your first paragraph. One of those teams ahead of us in the wild card race is likely to catch fire and go 6-1 or 5-2 down the stretch and lock up one of the two wild cards.

I'm a little disappointed in our record, but not disappointed in the positive changes.
We came into this year knowing it would be a 'reset' year and having some problems.
If we do make the playoffs it will be a bonus, but my expectations are for next year
when our current rookies take a big step up and with what I hope are a couple of
key FA's and maybe a good draft pick or 2, we again challenge for a championship or
at least make it over the hump to win games like those we lost this year.

After the Detroit game, I thought that we might be a viable contender for a playoff spot and my optimism peaked. But the last two games brought things back down to Earth. I'm back to my original 7-9 preseason forecast, although I think we'll win tonight.
