Hawks vs Rams

Postby Sports Hernia » Sat Oct 06, 2018 12:28 pm

I’m not liking our odds sad to say.

I think it’s going to take a near perfect game in all facets of the game to beat that team.
Offense is going to have to include a ton of quick passes, the less long developing time consuming pass routes the better.

On defense with ET being out really hurts. Gotta pressure Goff all day long.

And then there is Gurley.......

I hope the Hawks make me look like a fool for my prediction!

What say you?

Afraid to watch. maybe I will do yard work and peek once in awhile.

The main goal if things start going south is keeping injuries to minimum and get ready for the Raiders game

Hope if it gets lopsided Pete pulls Wilson and some others

This if us would be called a trap game, they come in on a high and with our injuries may not take us as seriously as they should, it is however a division game. This is a game where we if lose see the character of our new players and if nothing else will give them some good on field tuition. It will also lay the ground work for an attitude going forward that we have been missing for a while. If they get mad and a chip on their shoulders we could see a better team going forward.

Pete and Schotty need to open up stuff and take the ball and chain off the offense and let them play, we do have talent but it has been kept in a bottle for some reason. Making Wilson play in the pocket being one of them, yeah I know they said he had or has a Hammy situation, but he was able to get down field and block last week, thats not what a player does with a injury of that nature in my opinion.

If we come out and play and take this from the Rams it will be a confidence booster and stepping stone for us, it will be a statement saying we have not gone away yet and don't write us off.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. Logic tells me that this is going to be an ugly blowout, but you just never know. I'm heading to London for the Raiders game, and would I love to be strut'in my stuff in front of some Raiders fans if we were able to pull of an upset.

Seattle has shown they can run the ball. Run the ball and take your shots in between and play your best D and get a bounce here and there and who knows.

The Rams defense was suspect vs the Vikes at home and conversely the Vikings defense they lit up has been playing poorly all year.
Its why they play the games. All the pressure and expectations are on the rams. Its been a long time since seattle went into a home game as the hunter rather than the hunted. 7 point home dogs... Vegas usually wins but lets see what happens...

Hawktalk nailed it. If the Seahawks can run like they did the past 2 games, they have a chance...at least to keep the potent Rams offense off the field longer. But they need to start converting third downs in a hurry.

I'm hoping Frank Clark is available today. It's bad enough without Earl.

That's two stops by the defense, offense needs to pull their weight now, can't ask the defense to dodge bullets all day.

Until a penalty comes from nowhere, see that late flag come in for a hold after he was already down.

our OLine went downhill that whole drive. Best they're looked in years on a complete drive. Nice start!

That's what 6 TD's from the running game now, Carson is definatly the guy and Davis is showing to be a great compliment, Penny is going to have a hard time breaking thru this situation. Nice problem to have.

Huge play by the defense and Clark and the O-line was creating huge holes that drive and the RB’s were hitting the holes hard. A good start, though special teams have looked like crud so far.

Smart play by Seattle, going on the attack up the middle when Suh was out of the game.
