Absolutely, great that there's a rb to carry the load, and the stare down pick six attempt failed.
Lol yeah so now you are just giving wilson no credit for anything. Your just pathetic.

On only 26 attempts for just 172 yards an no TD's. Nothing to bust your buttons about there, Anthony.
However, Russell did play well even though it was kind of a game manager type of role, which is fine with me. For the 2nd straight week, he didn't take any stupid sacks and didn't turn the ball over. So while I agree with The Pope that Russell has to accept some responsibility for our dismal 3rd down conversion rate, he still played a solid game.
Anthony wrote:I never said it was, the troll wanted a stat, i gave him one. Sometimes all you need from your qb is enough to win. And he was 2-2 leading the game winning drive, plus some down field blocking.

Well, that wasn't exactly an Elway-esque drive. It was only 31 yards long and they barely got into FG range, botching the last 30 seconds and couldn't get another play off to try to get into better position. Thankfully Janikowski hit the 52 yarder or else the discussion might have been about our mismanagement of the clock (and I include our coaches in that, more wasted timeouts).
The POPE wrote:Anthony my poor demented boy, you missed the point. Since YOU label me as a troll I thought you might have some self seving stupid troll stat to pull out of your a$$. I was a seahawk fan long before Pete or Russ came along. Question is, if the Hawks dumped Russell would you still be a fan of the TEAM? It’s well established that your in on Russell, but what about the team? Honestly don’t know why I’m wasting time with you, slow day in the confessional I guess.

HumanCockroach wrote:While a win is excellent, I certainly am nowhere near feeling positive about struggling against perhaps a bottom 3 NFL team. No warm and fuzzy feelings this week, not much to hang a hat on, other than perhaps Seattle realizes just how pointless Penny is at least to date, and Seattle's defense remains opportunistic, hopefully the loss of the best player on the team won't derail that moving forward.

HumanCockroach wrote:Lol.... sure, he's amazing, must be the line making 98% of his rushes for under 2 yards.... bastaads only block for Davis and Carson.... they got a grudge against BP * that's Bad Penny*...
Lmao.... If only this was fantasy football where random stats were more important than actual play..... oh well, it's not.

Hip injury..... no worries though Penny averaged 5.4 ypc don't you know.... of course there was an irrelevant draw on 3rd and forever and a very nice sweep, and then nothing but 1 yard nothings, but don't let that derail your excitement about BP, he had 5.4 ypc.... lmfao
HumanCockroach wrote:I agree, he "played well" today..... for him.
Of course, when you're packing a 1.2 ypc average for the season, it's isn't super difficult to "play well" for you...
That said, unlike you, if he improves to the point he SHOULD get carries, I'll be clamoring for him to do just that, unlike you, I don't get into the excuse crap, or the stat cherry picking to evaluate a player, if they are better than those in front of them ( regardless of the name on the back of the jersey) I personally want them on the field, whether it's hundly over Wilson, or Lockett over Baldwin, or Penny over Carson, I don't make excuses, I expect results, and if you aren't providing them, sit your arse on the bench.
HumanCockroach wrote:Hmmm.... coincidence that in the two games seattle has won, he's had limited carries, and the two they lost he had the most? In Anthony's world, absolutely, clearly somebody else's fault....
I mean, who cares if he gets 2 yards or less on the bulk of his carries and puts seattle in bad offensive position? He had 2 runs of over 9 yards on an irrelevant draw and a sweep, he's clearly the best back in seattle, nay, the NFL!
