And just like that, it becomes a toss up...

0 competent running backs means on Wilson's shoulders, he has ALWAYS struggled against Arizona, and they'll know Seattle is incapable of running the ball, means exotic blitzes, and scramble time.... gonna be ugly.

Well so much for not being able to run the ball and wilson struggling against AZ. That stat showed 26tds 6 ints does not seem like a struggle to me

Whatever, cling to your numbers. Don't really give two squirts. He's struggled, hence 6-5-1 career record.

How convenient for you, to always find some way to blame it all on Wilson. How pathetic.

Two 3rd down passes completed to Baldwin each a yard short of a first down. What's wrong with this picture?

Y'all want to revisit the conversation we had about how Fatakowski was an upgrade to Walsh now, or after he misses 2 more kicks to pass the amount of misses Walsh had last season? At this rate, should happen middle of game 5 of the season....

Happens. When a blitz isn't recognized, and the throws are in the dirt, that's going to happen.... however, much prefer that to 20 yard scramble sacks.

So Anthony's theory is the ball 2 yards short can be caught beyond the marker.... lol.... better get those receivers go go gadget arms. Lmfao.... throws 3yrds short of the sticks, on the ground, the receivers fault....

The excuses know no bounds....

How many losses do we have because our GM and HC can't scout a worthwhile kicker? Cost us the playoffs last year. Costing us dearly this year.

Didn't cost us playoffs last year.... the 17 points handed to the defense in the first half against Atlanta did, or even the poor game situation awareness at the end of it.

And the multiple missed field goals in tight games. Fix any one of them and we're there. And finding a good kicker is easier than rebuilding a good defense or new QB you think will be better or an O-line or building a running game. But apparently not for this management group.

Kickers are the highest scoring in the league yearly. Not having a good kicker is a bad idea.

Turnovers in the red zone, or turnovers that lead directly to opponents points far bigger issue than a cut rate bargain basement kicker missing fgs last season....

This year however, seems to be a much bigger issue. The offense has regressed this season, a reliable kicker is a much bigger issue. Janikowski is now 2 kicks missed in 3 1/2 games of matching last season's scapegoat. Not a good look.

Nah, you have to fix one specific one of them. Atlanta, and even that doesn't guarantee playoffs ( as that places them in ot, which they still have to win) if you add a single victory droppin the rest of them, Seattle still doesn't make the playoffs ( head to head loss to Atlanta removed playoffs without 2 more wins).

Ultimately, the 17 points in a 3 point loss to Atlanta surrendered by the offense in the first half cost Seattle the playoffs last season. The kicker wasn't good, but he certainly wasn't throwing horrible picks, fumbling the ball, or taking crucial sacks, Walsh wasn't holding, false starting or surrendering defensive points... Walsh wasn't the one wasting time outside of his range, and expecting good results.... the kick in that game was on target, 5 yards short.... maybe running another play with the time wasted would have been wise...

It's all what "could have" been, but changing the several against washington or Arizona doesn't ultimately do anything but give Seattle anything but 1 more win, which unfortunately places them in exact same place. Outside looking in.

Where's the kicker excuse there? No excuse, just actually watched the game, and realise that 17 points is more than three. Also, it seems like I'm the only one consistent who remembers that some win against another team doesn't equal a playoff appearance. Another win doesn't equal post season, unless it's over Atlanta, and ONLY Atlanta. There's 0 guarantee that a made fg does anything but put the game in to OT there is no " single kick" that changes the course of last season.

Besides, shouldn't you be busy dusting off reasons the ball is being thrown low consistently, 81 yards in the first half isn't struggling , it's the receivers fault the ball is being thrown at their toes excuse fest?

Dude the kicker cost us games, you went on to come up with what you call excuses why it was others fault.
