4 Fullbacks in camp

Postby NorthHawk » Tue May 08, 2018 1:39 pm

We're really going back to the formula that got our run game going the first few years now.
The 4 Fullbacks are:
Jalston Fowler (a Titans cut)
Tre Madden from last years team
UFA Khalid Hill
UFA Marcus Martin

Competition at the FB spot to see who's going to lead Penney and Carson.
I think Hill might stick. He played in a pro style Offense at Michigan and also played TE a little, so at around 265 lbs provides some versatility for Schottenheimer.
Combined with 2 good blocking TE's, the run game should see some improvement.

I think we are going to play with a fullback this year...

I don't think we are going to beat Mack Strong but the future looks bright. Now we need a good guard or two and maybe a tackle on the right side.

This is how I see it, as well. I think having that pass-catching experience will make the Big formation with 2 TEs and Hill very interesting. The downside, of course, is that 6'2" is tall for a FB. It would be hard to get under the defenders' pads at that height, so we'll see how he does at sustaining blocks.

You can never beat Mack Strong. His name alone signals his superiority. Mack as in Truck and Strong, C'MON MAN!!!
