Great link, monkey.

"Seattle, you have something special in Russell Wilson."

Definitely confirmation rather than revelation but still a nice read.

Pretty revealing. I haven't seen much on RW to be honest from his past; not like they have ESPN and NFL Network flowing on cable here. But this kid is more special than I thought. With so many selfish kids out there, its truly remarkable that this kid is so pure, honest, loyal, and has such a great work ethic. I would love to see an interview with his father(RIP) or mother somewhere. Professor said, kids wanted to talk to him, but he was too focused. Chit, when I was in school, everyone just wanted to kick my ass.

I understand Russell and his wife, Ashton, make weekly visits to Seattle Children’s Hospital. That genuine love for others pours out of Russell Wilson. He’s not there out of obligation. He’s there because that’s the type of person he is. There is no pretense. There is no front.

I can attest to that, too. I know of a person that had a kid in Children's...back before his visits became so much public knowledge...that were in their room with their child when Russell Wilson pops in serving a meal. I don't have a link or a quote. You'll just have to trust me on this one. :)

The kid is a winner, as Sherman would say, "at life", lol.

"There's a King in every crowd."

Damn straight. I am an old guy and I'm learning from RW. And I'm using his lessons to teach my kids. And so it goes.

You're still teaching your kids and you call yourself an old guy? I haven't taught my kids anything in over a decade. You're an old guy when you're teaching your grandkids.

I have six kids ranging in age from just about 24 to almost12 years of age. I've been doing the "parent/teacher" thing for a while now. Like they say, it ain't the years, it's the mileage. Funny probably only to me, my youngest daughter got me a shirt that says"iDad- A powerful learning device". I got good kids.

Oh, and I have 3 grand kids so far.
