Dome Teams

There used to be a theory bandied about regarding dome teams and their success on the road in the playoffs, in particular, in road games involving cold weather climates. It's not something I've heard about lately, but I'm wondering if dome teams lose road games with any higher frequency than other teams in their road games.

Here's a list of teams that play their home games in either a dome or retractable roof stadium:

AFC: Houston, Indianapolis

NFC: Detroit, Arizona, Atlanta, New Orleans, Dallas, Minnesota (except for 2015 and 2016), and the Rams (prior to this season).

I'm too lazy to do a lot of homework over this theory, but in just looking at it, there seems to be quite a few dome teams that have lost road games in the playoffs. Dallas has lost two (Green Bay two years ago, against us about 10 years ago), Arizona last season vs. Carolina, Atlanta against the Niners a couple years ago.

It would seem that there are damn few wins for dome teams on the road in the playoffs. Maybe Indy and New Orleans on occasion? The Rams against us in 2005?

Listen up ram butt. As a Seahawks fan I've been able to enjoy at least 2 extra games a year 6 of the last 7 year and playoffs 13 of the last 16 years with a Lombardi and 3 super bowl appearances. Meanwhile the lambs have been suck starting a Harley Davidson for what? 12 years of no playoffs . It is surely the mark of a mentally unstable person to lurk in the forum of a franchise that exceeds the very best the Rams have EVER had.
