( Expect to see him get snatched up quickly after the SB as a DC, think Atlanta, maybe Indy or NO).

I'm glad he got the job so Quinn could lead us to the promised land. The last thing I remember about him as a Seahawk coach is having our defense set up in a deep TD prevent type defense with no press coverage against Atlanta in the 2012 playoffs with 21 seconds left,1 timeout and them needing 50 yards for a field goal try to win the game...

But he also won 2 lombardi's playing every playoff game on the road with what could best be described as an inconsistent QB who has tossed 20+ picks several times in his career.
He won them both against what has to be considered the best football organization ever assembled including taking down an 18-0 team.
As for Jacksonville he flipped an expansion team with Mark Brunell at the helm and made the AFC title game very early on as I recall. They were very competitive for years.
One downside that may be a meaningless stat is the goose egg of coaches winning it all at two different places.
I respect the guy. As a jacksonville fan i wouldnt be upset with the hiring.
If I owned the team id still get a young guy with a pedigree of grooming QB's.I think Bortles can be good but hes lost right now and thats the problem with the record.
Whether Coughlin or someone like Mike Smith you're still looking at somewhat of a short term solution IMO.
Don't sleep on interim coach Doug Marrone. Wasn't he the Bills coach for one season and turned in an 8-8 then resigned to pursue another HC position that he didn't get? What if they come out and tear up the last 2?
