On the Road without Bennett and tired - Our Defense will be put to the test today by the Brees passing Machine. Hopefully Richard will compensate by dialing up blitzes a little more frequently. I will be away from the TV - for good reason - so will not be posting during the game - but wanted to get the thread up and going. Go Hawks.

We caught a break there that cost the Saints 4 points when the receiver went down short of the line to gain. Those plays piss me off even when they go in our favor. No sense of game awareness.

Feeling a lot like last week- offense looks like sht on a shingle, but I can't shake the feeling the defense can't get off the field, either.

Bend don't break and all that, but still...

It's hard to believe that we've played this poorly yet have a two score lead. We score on a turnover and a gimmick play and the Saints shoot themselves in the foot by going down w/o contact short of a first down. We're going to have to start earning points instead of getting them gifted if we expect to come out of this game with a W.

We have nearly twice as many penalties (7) as we have first downs (4). I don't like how this game is going. We'd better get things turned around in the 2nd half.

Ugh...another horrible first half. How many of those have we had this season? Hard to believe that we actually have the lead. Can someone please remind me again of this 'drastically' improved offensive line of ours? 3 drive killing penalties, running game getting stuffed by this mediocre Saints defense.

Maybe not a lot of love from the zebras, but this is a result of a sh,t show offense and worn out defense. Maybe the "O" will pick it up, but as of now if it looks like a turd, smells like a turd, it's most likely a turd.
