Fant starting at LT in New Orleans?

Postby NorthHawk » Sat Oct 29, 2016 3:32 pm

The Times is reporting Fant could start if Sowell isn't ready. They upgraded his injury status to questionable from doubtful, but it will still be a game time decision.
If you can believe Cable, he sounds like he really thinks Fant might be the future at LT after playing 24 plays against the Cards last week.

All things considered, this isn't a bad spot to start Fant, and there's no many options at this point.

Saints D should still be exploited, even with RW's mobility being limited. Graham should be extra fired up. I look for us to go to him early. Road games are never easy, but we match up well against New Orleans, who won't be putting up there usually 30+ pts against us.

Seattle, 30-20.

My Humble Thoughts since we have the day off;

Brees will exploit the D and hit TE continuously for 15-20 yd gains all day

Also short passes in the flat

And a few long balls for scores

350 yds passing

Russ will be hobbled and under pressure and run game will lack

Saints 34
Sea 13

Great, and RW is going to get carted off with a season ending injury.

With Kam and MB being out we are really hamstrung, no pun intended. Savo I think this game comes down to whether RW can function at 80%. NO on the road is a tough test.
Seattle 17-14.
