I would say, however, that the D had a few opportunities to flop field possession and couldn't stop Case Keenum. We had them backed up around the goal line twice and the Rams moved to midfield or better. Starting out at an average of the 17 yard line made the day that much harder. Not hanging this loss on the D, just making a point.

Holmy used to harp about that and it seemed to get a sense of urgency with everyone where they played a little quicker.
We got better at times last year when we got plays off quicker, so maybe that might be something easy to change.

And I didn't say the offense was good per see at all.
The line sucked. Bevel called a poor game. Rawls played like crap even though he got the worst of our line vs their freshest front 7. Still 1 ypc is ridiculous.
The penalties were ridiculous. If lock and Wilson don't get robbed of a game changing play and seattle robbed of a Td pass on a call 25 yards away we aren't having this discussion at all in spite of all the problems. My beef is strictly with people bashing Wilson.
Almost no other qb would be in the game. None would be full practice.
He led the team to a win on a high ankle sprain and damn near another Sunday on one leg after getting hammered all friggin day.
The overall offense was crap but it isnt russ's fault at least not yet.

When opposing pass rushers can pin their ears back and blitz all game long and not having to pay a price is disgusting. Keep 'em guessing I say.
It is more than apparent that no team, not even on the college, level is going to hire Bevell as a HC and take him off of our hands and Pete is NEVER going to fire the bum s were will just have to wait for "divine" intervention to be freed of this IDIOT.
Mike Holmgren, at least, KNEW how to use a T.E. like Jimmy Graham. Pete does not understand pro-level offenses and is dependent on Bevell, too dependent IMHO. Bevell also is clueless about how to use a weapon like J.G. Bevell wouldn't even know how to use Gronk!

That would be -1 yards per rush ( 7 rushes , -7 yards) and I don't recall Michael having any issues gaining yardage behind that line ( 6 yards a rush)
