Like Gruden said another project. Grade B- You had Whitehair out there as the best guard in the draft. Ok it OL BUT.
jshawaii22 wrote:OMG, we actually picked a OLineman at 31... Don't know much about him, but it's probably OK... next a Center, then Guards... evidently, he doesn't really play an NFL style game as he plays most downs standing up. Mr. Cable on Line 1.
mykc14 wrote:I like it. Would be great if he could play RT (my guess is that Pete and john sell him as a RT) but my guess is he is our starting LG next year.

I have to disagree whitehair was never going to be drafted by the hawks. We at least got a starting LG and an extra #3. I give this first round an A.
jshawaii22 wrote:I just thought we were going to trade back into the 2nd. I would of rolled the dice on Miles Jack.
My biggest takeaway from the mock-draft exercise was that the Seahawks could be in position to trade down and still get a player they covet. We did not include trades in our projections, but if the Seahawks can find a team that wants to move up (perhaps to land a quarterback?), they could deal out of the first round for the fourth consecutive year.

Other than where we traded back, he nailed it.

You think they give up on Britt so soon?
Obiken you gotta stop listening to the talking heads, they're morons.
Ifedi will start day one, probably at LG, and be terrific. Whitehair doesn't fit at all! We were never targeting Whitehair. He was not on our radar, he doesn't fit, not athletic enough for Cable's ZBS.

Could we be more in lockstep? We keep saying exactly the same things.
monkey wrote:That's because Kapadia was reading Rob Stanton, who nailed it first and has been saying it all along.

Either one and I'll be DANCING.
jshawaii22 wrote:Please explain to me how a Guard/Tackle who played for a wide-open spread passing offensive team and rarely, if ever, played with a 3 point stance, is considered the 'best pick' and a 'fit' for the ZBT?
HumanCockroach wrote:I kind of feel like Dahl could make the transition to center. I don't doubt Seattle has plans for at least two more lineman ( probably three) and wouldn't be surprised to see two selected tomorrow, but I kind of expect that second rounder to be spent on a DT that has fallen ( there's some pretty nice ones still just sitting there).
Honestly, if Jack is still hanging a around in the third, especially the very end of the third could absolutely see them taking him or Smith with one of them..
monkey wrote:Here's how I see tomorrow playing out.
I see the Seahawks adding at least one more O-lineman. Connor McGovern, Joe Haeg, Joe Dahl and Hal Vaitai all would fit the scheme and all are expected to go from 2-4.
I see the Seahawks taking one or more of Jonathan Bullard, Chris Henry, maybe Chris Jones, Noah Spence, Kevin Dodd, Kyler Fackrell (please!) or Bronson Kaufusi (pretty please!)
I think one of Kenneth Dixon or Paul Perkins would fit nicely tomorrow as well, as the depth at RB is extremely thin. We could also add a stud third down RB/special teams star, Tyler Ervin.
In the fourth, I see the Seahawks taking Devon Cajuste.
There are a few others as well, but those are the ones I am highest on.

https://twitter.com/johnpboyle/status/7 ... 7722795013 Yes.
I was thinking that he'd get moved to LG, and he still could, but apparently Pete likes him at RT.
THat would move Webb to LG to compete with Britt.

It's going to take a while to get up to speed on NFL level of play and get to the point where he doesn't have to think about what he has learned from OTA's onward.
