Seahawks 38
Niners 17(The last 7 points in garbage tIme).
Defense damn close to shut out the Saints most of the game. This was Drew Brees! (Granted we had some inclement weather but still, Kap is no Drew Brees).
I am banking on a similar performance but with Kap taking more shots down the field, and our secondary getting more int's.
His crew has only called 13 PI's all season.

I like Steratore calling the game. His crew has only called 13 PI's all season. Advantage Hawks.

I agree with all of this, but it's hard for me to see the Hawks putting up 24 on the 9ers with what I've seen recently. Unless something changes (coughharvinreturnscough), I see something closer and lower scoring, like 17-13 Hawks. But if Harvin plays the whole game, I think the Hawks put up another 7 points.

Not willing to make a prediction for this game but I will give a key to the game. DB's need to bump the 9er's WR's hard at the line of scrimmage to throw them off their routes not allowing them to get down field while the linebackers and Dline bum rush Krapperdick. He has had way to much time in the pocket the last 4 games and will destroy us if he has the opportunity to run! Take his weapons away for a few seconds and bring pressure from the edges so if he runs it's in the middle of the field at least at the beginning of the run. Seems like the guy likes to run around the outside.
Go Hawks!

Sherman probably draws Bolden and Thurmond/Lane will cover Crabtree. Look for a lot of Cam Chancellor/Vernon Davis contests. I think we match up pretty well against them. The big worry will be stopping Gore and putting them in 3rd and 5+.
RiverDog wrote:I say we win, but not a blowout like the last two home games we've played against the Niners. IMO this one will look a lot like the last Niners game in SF or last week's Saints game. Gore gets held to less than 50 yards rushing, Kaep gets picked off 3 times, one a pick 6, and Beast gets 125 yards and a TD, red zone offense still bogs down and Hauschka boots 3 FG's. I say we win by two scores, and I'll stick with my prediction from the Saints game at 23-10.
Edit: Wow, THX, I just read your post. Brilliant minds think alike.

I am honored, mah Bruthuh!
Maybe, just maybe the reason we have such alike predictions is because the outcome is a reality. We are operating on the Quantum Level and have tapped into a realty which is going to be realized on Sunday. We are going to win. We are going to the Super Bowl. We are the observers and we create our reality.

Kaep did throw 3 ints first meeting, but he also had the exact same performance the following week at home v the Colts. Panthers did about the same to him week 11, and the next time they played they could not stop him from the late 2nd half on. As you all say, those early season games are the "past". Lol! Predictably, the past is irrelevant when referring to Lombardi trophies, but of course is completely relevant when we're discussing a game that was played 16 games prior to this one.
Anyhow, I see a close game. The plan is to make RW beat us, which he is fully capable of doing. At the same time Isee more weapons on O for us, and two Ds that are playing about the same level. Both Ds are hot.
Again, neither result will surprise me, win or lose. I will stay west coast and support Hawks if they win.
Good luck and enjoy the game.

Clearly the ownership of the NFC West and further the balance of power in the conference is at stake tomorrow. Seattle has been lucky enough and good enough to have the game at home. All things being equal that should be the difference. You can talk about trends, hot and cold teams etc all you want but tomorrow is a new day and its 0-0. We will see what happens soon enough.............
