Is it wrong to admit that I am looking forward to seeing Rawls and Lockett play more than almost anyone on the team?
As much as I enjoyed watching Lynch run the ball, I am SO EXCITED to see this new era begin.
I wouldn't be one bit surprised to see Rawls at the top of the NFC in yardage this year. We're going to be a DOMINANT run team again, AND, best of all, we're going to be BALANCED with Wilson continuing to just get better and better every year.
This offense is going to be scary good.

Not wrong at all. I absolutely loved watching Beast run and will miss him dearly, but I really liked what I saw of Rawls, too. But I do want to caution you that we really haven't seen all that much of him, particularly his blocking and pass receiving skills, to properly anoint him as the heir apparent to Beast.

We have some tremendous potential on offense, particularly at our skill positions, but I'm still having kittens over the status of our line. I'd feel a lot better if we added a few solid draft picks and/or a legitimate OT like Thomas.

I've seen "quite a bit" of him in 1st and 2nd down running situations at which he has excelled in, but I haven't seen him in a lot of blocking, pass catching, or short yardage running opportunities....have you?

About as much as I saw Beast over any six game stretch. Have you forgotten that Lynch also typically came off the field on third down or something? Jackson last year Turbo prior to that and Forsett prior to him?.

In fact, Rawls was on pace to be right around Lynch's normal production in the passing game ( around 20-24 receptions and about 160 to 180 yards receiving)...

In regards to protection, I can't remember an obvious blown protection, you?

Without pushing, which we don't want him to, could he be ready in 5 months River?? I think the end of Sept 1st of Oct would be 10 months right?
