Hope doctors clear him to play. I am leaning that they will.

He hasn't practiced all week, so even if he is cleared, it's unlikely that we'll see a whole lot of him, perhaps on kickoff returns.

I think he'll play even if he misses practice today.

Not with Pete. If he plays it'll be full go, if not he just won't play.

The good news is his hip came through the game well with no ill effects. So at least we know that is behind him now.

Here's hoping he gets the thumbs up from the doctors.

I find it so completely odd that I don't actually care if Harvin is available to play or not. Such a freakish ability. So amazingly fast. Arguably one of the best athletes Seattle has EVER had on their roster, ever. And if I hear the announcement that the docs have not cleared him to go I will be ambivalent, only because his mind boggling skill set hasn't been necessary to get us to this point.

Again, I hope he is a go for Sunday. I also hope that SF doesn't come out like a bunch of bounty hunting NO players looking to take off his head whether he has the ball or not. And if he is cleared to play I see no reason to hold him back. You either play as much as you can or you don't play. Leave it on the table.

Cut Harvin to make room for someone who's actually contributed to the Seahawks this season.

Harvin does not deserve to have his name on the Super Bowl roster.

My mobile update just told me he's been ruled out for this game.

Dang...that hurts. Makes it harder for us to win, but this gives guys like Kearse and Lockette to step up! Go Hawks!

I have mixed emotions. Part of me agrees with Rott. Harvin opted out of the first half of the season, was to say the least, surrounded by some very mysterious circumstances between the Minnesota game and last week's NO game, and won't be available this Sunday. He does not deserve a spot in the most watched event in the world.

But on the other hand, I'll make a pact with the Devil himself if it will get us a Lombardi.

Next man up!

We can win without him, because we've done it all year.

GO SEAHAWKS!!!

So Percy is out. That sucks.

Why would the Hawks announce that he's out today, instead of the usual we're still waiting on him to be cleared bs we've been fed? Did they have to announce today who's on their roster for Sunday? Sort of negates the whole we have an extra day idea (Sat vs Sun game) PC floated. Say he clears protocol tomorrow, can he play? Or is there some rule stating once he's declared out, he's ineligible?

Something about the Harvin injuries and how they've been reported doesn't sit right.

Unless I am mistaken, concussion injuries are out of the team's control. They are examined by a doctor or doctors that are not associated with the team.

Yeah, it's not like they can game time it. He is either ready or not and it turns out the answer was , not.
