I think the guy really made him seem dumber (for lack of a better word) than he really is but this column does really highlight some of his issues we've discussed.
I've said for a LONG time that Carroll kept the O very basic for Wilson and played to his strengths, while JH ran a more complicated system which most times took 20+ seconds just to call the play.
And yet Russell Wilson averages more ints per game than Kap, despite the two near the bottom of the league in attempts each yr.
Are you really that bad at debate, or are you just so consumed with hatred for RW and Sherm that it suppresses any ability you otherwise possess to argue effectively?[

kalibane wrote:No we were debating the overall outlook for the 49ers. One of the factors was that Bowman was a question mark. Now if you're having problems deciphering that, a question mark is not a prediction, it means just means it could go either way, considering the time it was taking him to recover.
You assuming that he was going to be 100% was just that, an assumption based on zero evidence. He had not been on a football field to demonstrate any of his skills. So...
1. This doesn't mean I was wrong about anything. In fact on this particular point, I couldn't be wrong or right because no prediction was made. So the fact that you are trying prance around the forum screaming "I told you so" is completely ridiculous.
2. It was 3 snaps in a preseason game. THREE SNAPS. I'm not rooting for Bowman to be bad. I would like him to get all the way back. But when your conclusive evidence of being correct on a point we were never debating to begin with (except in your mind) is only three snaps, it shows just how badly you want to find some kind of validation. To draw a comparison, despite how good Tyler Lockett has looked in his more than three snaps, you don't see anyone running around this forum proclaiming him to be the next Devin Hester. Why? Because it is a hopeful sign but the sample size is way to small to draw a conclusion.
This all goes to what Burrton was saying. You are all over the place. Your arguments are not well constructed. They are shallow. They are not grounded in logic and they smack of desperation and bias. And your defense mechanism is to just pull the bias card, almost like you're the cheating husband who accuses their wife of cheating all time either to distract her from his cheating or because he assumes she behaves the same way he does. Your Russell Wilson arguments for instance are so ridiculous they aren't worth replying to. At one point in time you actually criticized Wilson's deep ball, now you're saying Pete Carroll built the offense around his deep ball accuracy? You really just make it all up as you go along.
When I said it was sad... I meant it. You are a grown man who has lost all semblance of sanity, perspective and decorum over a football rivalry with people you have never met and that you couldn't handle being on the wrong end of for the past couple of years.
