Ripple? That really dates you, Mr. C. Fred Sanford used to talk about mixing Ripple with cream and called it Cripple, or mix it with champagne and called it champimple.

Personally, I never touched the stuff. I had one helluva lot better taste than those Ripple drinkers. I drank Mad Dog.

I drank mad dog once and puked it up on a pure white shag carpet at a party some girls were hosting with their parents out of town. Not good its the only time I ever drank it.

My MD story- drank a bottle, then was puking when my roommate brought the phone in to me and said "Uh, your girlfriend is on the phone..."

He tries to hand it to me but I picked up the hair dryer and said "*eragh* Hello?" into it.

Never heard the end of it. And haven't touched MD since.

You're probably not going to believe this but we used to mix Mad Dog and beer 50/50. Rocket fuel. It didn't taste as bad as it sounds.

These Mad Dog, Boones Farm, tales only confirm what I have thought all along. You guys are all a bunch of twisted, hilarious f*cks. No wonder I feel I belong here. My wine story involves a skating rink, a girl, vomit, & beatings received. I've got the scars to prove it.
PF, Your jail plight aint so bad. The last time I was locked up, I was maced, tazed, & drug out of the holding tank sputtering, all because I chose to park between a frustrated rapper, & a chemically enhanced suburbanite who happened to get into a fist, (& other appendage), fight. Be careful who you choose to sit next to in the tank.

Glad you're outta jail, 'stache.

But for what it's worth, I'm also glad I'm not the only one here who's paid a visit to a "hotel" downtown the past coupla years or so.

I can remember when I was in my 20's and we were at a neighborhood type bar where the owner knew and liked us and treated us well, would be smiling and counting heads as we came in so he knew how many glasses to bring to our table, made sure all of his hired help treated us right. One night he sold a bottle of Thunderbird wine to us and we started to mix it with beer. He saw what we were doing, came over to the table, grabbed the bottle of wine and all of our glasses and took them away from us, then brought us a fresh pitcher of beer on the house as a replacement, said we were going to kill ourselves.

Ahh, MD 20/20 or Mogen-David 20/20, because that is who makes "mad dog" the Mogen-David winery. There are a couple of different varieties of MD 20/20 if my memory serves me right. Mad Dog has a very sweet taste, a bit too sweet for me but when we were young that didn't matter. Oh, I remember Annie Green Springs & Spanada as a bit more drinkable, especially the Spanada. T-Bird is just plain nasty and the only reason to drink it is to get drunk. I don't drink much any more, it just makes me drowsy, even only a few beers. I might have some bourbon or whiskey during the holidays or other special days or weekends, especially if I am not driving.

Pot & wine huh? It had to be the wine because I don't remember anyone ever punching someone else if they were only high on pot, but alcohol can make anyone want to fight.

Now PF, help us out here, you said YOU went to jail but what about the other guy?? You didn't tell us what he said or did to warrant you punching him. Was he an aggressive ahole who didn't know when to shut his pie hole?

Anyway, I am glad you are out of the "gray bar hotel" now just keep out of trouble and don't mess up your probation.

I am in my 50's and I think it was in the early 1980's the last time I got pissed and punched some body, a long time ago. He had it "coming" too, luckily a couple of police officers had witnessed the guy being aggressive and running his mouth. He was a "puke" who went up the midway starting trouble at every booth, then him and his group left the midway and went up the stairs to the Monorail and/or Food Circus. I was glad they were leaving, then, I heard him tell his friends "wait, I want to play 1 more game". Down the stairs they all came and he came up to my booth and started giving me B.S. about how I was cheating him and how all of the games were rigged. I was just trying to calm the guy down when he grabbed at my money apron trying to snatch money out of it, next thing you know I was dribbling his head on the counter like a basketball. The police had been watching them and made their move to arrest the guy when he grabbed for the money but I just had to get my shots in before they rescued him. My bosses were not too happy with me but all of the others who had been harassed by this guy and his group all thanked me! Some people just beg to be punched in the face.

thanks Bob. I will probably check in more than I have once the pre/season starts to commence. just wanted to see some old names and faces from the PI days again. as of late I have been doing my football discussion in FB trash talk groups and can feel my IQ lowering each day (I blame Cowboys fans the most)

Cowboys fans?
They are insufferable even when they are losing, I can't imagine how bad they are now they think they can contend.
