Seahawk steps to get to 3rd straight Super Bowl

Postby NorthHawk » Sat Feb 07, 2015 2:43 pm

For those of us who are still despondent over last Sundays game (and others who are just interested), here is an article by Rob Rang about what we have to do to get to the next Super Bowl.
He also includes a link to his Mock draft.

I like Rob. No headline grab, nothing earth shattering or knee jerk reactive, just sound football decision making and management philosophy. The stuff of which this team and organization are built and the bible by which they already live.

NorthHawk - Thank You for that.

Amazingly, Just 4 days after the loss, I was doing much better. I handled this situation waaaaay better than I would have just several years ago.

And Mr. Rang is correct here - there is Plenty to be optimistic about.

Chief among the reasons we could make it back - and a Huge reason we did so last season, IMO - was the mindset of "1-0 each week", or "championship game" mentality for each regular season matchup.

Pete and the players made the 2014 season manageable that way. They didn't make the situation daunting by looking at the entire schedule at once, nor did they focus on the odds of reaching the SB again. They simply broke it down to be psychologically achievable. That's a great way to approach it.

Our team has that kind of discipline. We've seen this work 3 years running. We have Immensely talented players, coaches, and a front office who are all on the same page. There are not many franchises out there who are as in synch as we are.

We're not simply gonna disappear. Health is key.

Good things are headed our way.
