Party's over Beast. Gotta behave.

Can you imagine the MVP ceremony if they gave it to him?

I see you alluded to such a scenario

So sick of the NFL's consistent "ignorance" ( ignorance is not an excuse Roger) regarding SERIOUS things, that they KNOW about, while spending ALL their collective efforts of removing things that temporarily may not fit the image they are attempting to portay to the nation.
So incredibly tired of the double standards by the league and lack of priorities.

Not that I matter myself but if you got a vote from the fans as a whole, I would bet that it is a NON ISSUE. The only ones that would be complaining would be the losing team and those very few sUcker moms. I have not talked to ONE person outside the internet and TV that have an issue with it.
Fining Lynch or Mathews more for having their hand waver over their junk after a huge play while fining players less for blatant late hits and cheap shots, is something I can't stomach.
HumanCockroach wrote:I understand why they are doing it completely, doesn't change my feelings on the hypocracy of the league, I was more upset with the fine levied on Mathews ( he did not grab his junk, despite the league saying he did, he went to, and was stopped by Lynch) and it's fine to Kearse for celebrating the biggest play in his career and Seahawks history. The NFL is the only organisation I'm aware of that doesn't look at factors when doling out punishment, it simply does, without a thought to what has occured, or why a player does what he does.

Replaying the grab incessantly on their network following the action, is also something I find absolutely ludicrous, and honestly, I think they threatened Lynch with the penalty in an effort to get him to do it AGAIN not to stop it from happening. Anyone in the world think the NFL does not "like" the media attention, and spotlight it brings to the league, doesn't know what the league actually holds dear. They simply are NOT about " good clean, wholesome family fun" they are however about creating viewers, advertisment and bringing people into the fanbase. Good or bad publicity doesn't matter to the NFL. They are all about plausible deniability, they told him "not to do it" so they can tell said soccer moms, it wasn't us, nothing more.
To drive home Your point - the NFL is making money off selling an item that has an image of Marshwan grabbing his Crotch.
The Irony....... or Hipocracy.......... or the Incompetency of the clowns who run the NFL........

Wow, that is just amazing that piece of memorabilia is on their own website.
Did anyone just catch Sherm's presser??....Loved it, he just called out the NFL and the Patriots, I was somewhat shocked even Sherm said what he said. Wish I had a link, it should be all over NFL network tonight. He just stirred up a buzz, no doubt Patriot players are gonna be asked their reaction to it, yet another distraction. Sherm ain't dumb, he said that for a reason. LOL, I love that he said the NFL won't do anything to the Patriots cause Kraft and Goddell have been seen in each other's homes recently on social occasions, called it a conflict of interest. Man, I love this guy!!

They don't back up anything with consistent effort, statements or actions, they care about one thing and ONLY one thing and that is $$$$$$$
No different than any other major corporation in the country
HumanCockroach wrote:Fair enough, and when a coorporation acts in this way publicly, heads roll, people lose jobs, and the public is irate about it, why should the NFL be any different?
Your entitled to not caring, please don't tell me I shouldn't. Thanks.
HumanCockroach wrote:Big reason why the world is in it's current state IMHO. Far to many people "accept" condemable practices because they " can't change it". I'm fine with becoming upset about hypocracy, dishonesty, greed, cheating etc. Not sure ignoring, or accepting that stuff is what God was attempting to teach us, but to each his own.
