Dan Quinn

So unless atlanta is holding out for some coach from the pantsies what I don't see happening and considering that Dan Quinn had it's second interview Monday with Atlanta it looks like Dan Quinn will be leaving after SB. I wonder who Pete has in mind to take his place for next year. Will he be able to attract some big known name or will he pull a Pete and get someone no one has heard off and turn him into a future HC?

Unless he goes with Quinn to be his DC in Atlanta.

I could definitely see promoting from within, my guess would be Ken Norton, who IMHO has done a fantastic job coaching and developing the LB core.

I'd hate to see Norton leave the sidelines. He's one of the most vocal, excited and active coaches during the game. He might not like to be confined to a little room, a mile above the stadium.

Hate to see Dan go but defense is the weak point of the Falcons and they believe fixing that one area of the team will bring them back. They are also getting long in the tooth so I hope DQ has a GM he can work with like PC has in JS.

Not all DC's sit above in the booth, perhaps he would be one of those that roam the sideline. I'm not sure, but IMO if they are promoting from within, he is a logical choice.
