Oh, I'm sure he heard him. The non response was classic Largent. He wasn't going to embarrass the host or do anything else to divert attention away from the moment. It wasn't about Largent, Walt, or Tez, it was about Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, Pete Carroll, et al.
And just so my comments aren't misinterpreted, don't 'hate' Terry Bradshaw. Quite the contrary. When he played, all reports are that he was a great teammate and a fun guy to be around and I've since heard some complimentary remarks about Bradshaw's demeanor at autograph signings. But Terry Bradshaw is about as stupid of a tv personality that I can think of and I get a little tired of his non stop Hee Haw routine. It's as if he knows he isn't very smart and feels he has to resort to acting like a clown in order to distract people or avoid discussions requiring any kind of independent thought.
Is there any remaining doubt about Hollywood Henderson's charge concerning Bradshaw's ability to spell the word 'cat' after having been spotted the 'c' and the 'a'?
