That's what it is! His 1877 rushing yards to Brady's 216 are the whole problem! ... you just can't be a rushing QB and be elite

It's subtraction by addition.

That's pretty surprising. I had no idea Russell's stats were so similar to Brady's in his first 3 years. In two weeks, he will have another line to compare with Brady. 2 SB wins in his first 3 years.

To be honest, I don't get caught up in the characterizations, such as whether or not Russell is an 'elite' quarterback. The arguments about that kind of stuff seem to me to be subjective and inconsequential. But if we win, or rather when we win, in SB 49, the media will have no choice but to refer to Russell as 'elite.'

Nice post Bob. Great info.

Brady's head does seem to be a bit larger than Wilson's :?

Kinda digging the no respect thing though. We know what we have in RW and that's all that matters!

Again.... Nice post.

Go Hawks!

Been pointing that out for two full years to a certain someone. It's dismissed, ignored or what have you, but IMHO their career arcs are incredibly similar. With the gozillion yards and pass happy offense people refuse to acknowledge that Brady's legacy was cemented with a great run game, and a good to great defense, some clutch throws to pull out big game victories ( who soes that sound like If the name isn't provided?).

Truth is, his arc is also similar to other incredibly great players as well. Won't go into a long list, or the statistics, lets just say there is more than one first ballot HOF QB on the list, no matter what people insist, Wilson has done EVERYTHING and MORE than anyone remotely familiar with the game of football could reasonably expect from a QB finishing his third year of football in the pros ( hence the NFL RECORDS that are everywhere on his resume). Some of those folks will be "forgetting" conveniently what they said, and how they assessed Wilson in not to much more time.

Add in rushing yards and touchdowns, and Russell is well ahead of Brady.

Thats what I was going to say. RW's numbers are actually better than Brady's when you add those yards. Over 2,000 more yards, 7 more TD's, and 10 less Int's, more W's. I like the comparison, if only he were taller.

Wow those are eye opening stats! But not really surprising.I wouldn't trade a young Brady for Wilson. Brady is the ultimate system quarterback, protected by great defenses with extra film, great offensive lines, explosive players, and great coaches who have always employed max protect schemes to keep him standing up. A guy who can run his system is a stud and Brady is. A guy who can create magic out of chaos is amazing.RW is one of the most dynamic young QBs who has ever entered the league.

We were all reminded just how special RW is.

Not because he helped rally the offense to an unlikely comeback, but because he kept his focus to do so in the first place, despite his worst game as a pro.

That intangible, as much as anything else, is what makes him elite.

The crew on NFL network were referencing the coolness of Wilson flipping a terrible script to a winning script,4 int would be death for any QB but here comes Wilson only needing 2 tds and its "uh,oh"He comes and takes it away. I swear I dont know if NE really understands what they will face in Glendale. Its the radical outlier, the apex predator designed to kill and eat their team, their spouses and children. They better be careful.

OK New England needs a wakeup call. I will relish the Hawks delivering it to them a day late and dollar short....

The weather was a huge factor/an equalizing factor last Sunday. Anyone who expects to see a similar performance from a Hawk in a controlled situation is not being realistic.
