Jerry Rice has NOTHING to say, EVER about ANYTHING like that, not EVER!
Jerry Rice disrespected Steve Largent and the Seahawks by wearing the number 80.
That led me to reminding everyone who would listen, repeatedly, about the incident on the Cowboys star with T.O. and how upset they all were about it, rightly so!
The Niners probably ought to feel ticked off, but Jerry Rice ought to shut his CAKE HOLE!!!
After Jerry Rice gets all butt hurt over a perceived slight that didn't even involve him, does anyone still want to say that whole thing was "no big deal" like I've heard so many times now?!? He knew darn good and well how disrespectful he was being, and didn't care, this proves it.

Yeah Jerry, get real.

So what's wrong with you guys? Have you lost your passion? The other Hawk forums are having a blast with this, and to me, it was the most satisfying scene I've seen as a Hawk fan since we won the SB. Our two star players partying with an info babe on the Niners logo? Man, talk about a poke in the eye to everyone in Whiner Nation! Jerry Rice just recently tweeted his disgust, said we could have shown more respect, as if it was our idea.

Sherman carrying that platter over his head and Russell fist pumping the drumstick conjured up images of some medieval army tearing body parts off their conquered enemies. The symbolism was fantastic. Perhaps someone can superimpose Harbaugh's head onto that turkey platter.
It also reminded me of T.O. spiking the ball on the Dallas star, except this one was officially sanctioned.
Agent 86 wrote:I have this thing called "Snag It" at work, and what I did was snag the picture of RW3 and RS25 you mentioned walking off the field with the platter and drumstick, put it into the body of an email, and then put fake subject heading that was serious like so they would open the email, and emailed it to all my 49'ers friends......I got some pretty funny responses back, most of them were pretty upset with Greg Roman.

If I recall correctly the woman reporter asked them both about the symbolism of eating this meal on the 49er logo (I think with the intent of instigating something memorable) and Russell responded by saying nothing but respectful comments while RIchard when prodded said something about "better to let sleeping dogs lie or this is what happens". Neither of them were disrespectful at all during this moment.
I think Jerry Rice is over-reacting quite a bit here - Makes me wish that Richard & Russell and finished up both of those drumsticks and then stood up and spiked the remnants right on the team's logo.

Wilson and Sherman didn't really have much of a choice, and ultimately if Rice wants to be upset, the people he should be upset with is the 49rs bras that approved that before the game, there was always a chance it would be Seattle players doing that, and they had to know it, so while I respect the hell out of Mr. Rice, he needs to figure out who his ire should be directed at.

Guess they don't grasp how that all works, and it is Seattle, Sherman and Wilsons fault that the Station requested and the Niner FO APPROVED the set up. Not sure if they were just super arrogant that it would be one of their players eating there, or simply stupid. Either way, that ire should be placed where it BELONGS on the Niner FO and media relations, and you would hope that Niners fans would grasp that, but I mean, it IS Niner fans after all. Same guys applauding TO celebrating on the star, or signing an autograph in a MNF game in Seattle, apparently can't handle a PLANNED segment perpetuated by the network and their own FO. SMDH. It's getting out of control at this point.
