Sataoa Laumea to start at RG

A bit of a surprise as he's the backup at LG but coach says he's earned it. I'm familiar 'cause he's a Ute, but in case y'all aren't he's a 6th round draft pick rookie.

I had him figured as a 2nd or 3rd round prospect.

Hope Bob is right! I’m more concerned that this is a bigger statement about how far off Haynes is. Or we caught lightning in a bottle with Laumea :?:

I'm glad they're experimenting around as it sends a signal to every player that they'd better produce. Bradford has been a huge disappointment and Haynes doesn't seem to be able to beat him out. It also gives hope to those late round, practice squad-type players that if they work hard, that they still have a chance, that someone might notice them. I know nothing about him, but I hope he does well.

I'm glad he's just a guard as I'm having a helluva time pronouncing his name. :D

Be nice to find a gem of a guard. Some huge Islander-blooded monster who can hold the middle or drive a hole in the middle.

It’ll be interesting to see how well he does against a good Jets DL.
They have some real studs on that line, but I don’t know how healthy they are.

Polynesian names are easy, you just pronounce every letter.

You would have no problem wandering around New Zealand as most of the beaches and towns are Polynesian names. At first I struggled. But I was told the same thing and it’s a lot easier to pronounce things. The Polynesian culture is pretty consistent through out many islands and countries
