I been a fan of this guy since 18, I believe I had him in the 1st in my 3-deep that year. If healthy, and it looks like he will be, he's a huge upgrade in the middle.

The best news about the signing is that J S is paying more attention to strengthening the offensive line. He has repeatedly down graded guards in general with his "over paid" comments. The turnover in that unit has been destructive, in that the needed cohesiveness and the need to know well the guy playing next to him. Maybe McDonald has made a message that he wants continuity.

We played games with our draft picks again and we could of drafted the #2 center in the draft mid 2nd round instead of a longshot in round #6.

Connor Williams has played 4 seasons at OG and 2 at C. Seattle lacks veteran presence at both OG spots and C. Williams could very well be one of those OG spots.
It seems there's unreasonable expectations for a 5th round rookie to have immediately started, and, then, because he didn't and he wasn't amazing in his limited action, he's done. If he's not it, that's fine, but there would be a huge advantage if he can develop and become a started, so it's far from time to give up on him.
