Home field advantage isn't like it was as we've lost way more than we used to at home, but I think we have as much talent as these others at the moment.
NorthHawk wrote:The Jets Defense is Super Bowl caliber, but it's being wasted on a poorly performing Offense.
This draft might just set them up for a good run into the playoffs next year, but I think this game can be had by us.

Injuries have knocked him off the field every time he’s been elevated . Imo it’s his only issue. He’s Drew lock with swag . Game on . I see no reason New York should not look at the guy long term . Especially looking at the dumpster fire with Wilson there and in Denver and all these other first round flame outs.
Jets are coming to play . I hear Seattle is a slight favorite . I have no idea why if anyones watched us at home . Zero faith . I expect 7-10 . Surprise me .

I felt bad for Zach Wilson last Thursday, that Jets crowd despises him, but I guess he brought that on himself with his one word "No" answer a few weeks back and took no accountability.
Their offense has been performing poorly, but they haven't been going up against the 29th ranked defense, either. Plus they're getting Mike White back, and they've played better with him starting than they have Zach Wilson.
The Jets have lost 4 in a row, to the Bills, Vikings, Lions, and Jax. Two of those teams currently have a combined record of 24-6, and the other two were games where Zach Wilson started.
And as I said, they still have the playoffs as a lure, a really big deal for a team that hasn't been to the dance for 12 seasons.
I'm picking the Jets, 24-20.

Defense was pretty dominant. Taylor was relentless most of the game. Finally some picks!
Things are looking up to end the season in a positive way. I expect a relatively easy W over the Rams. Note- GB is gonna smoke the Lions.

Our O-line played just well enough, the Jets front 4 is really good and I figured Geno would be pressured all day, but it wasn't that bad. Sauce Gardner is the real deal, though.

I was surprised Saleh didn’t pull him at some point but I guess when it’s Zach Wilson or 100 year old Joe Flacco on the bench what do you do ?
NorthHawk wrote:I think it's inevitable that they take a QB with one of their first 2 picks.
They are currently at 13 and 44 for those picks but could drop if teams ahead of them win their last game.
Maybe they will look at us for a haul of picks moving up about 10 draft spots.
NorthHawk wrote:I forgot about Derek Carr being available.
He might be their target and they could move on with him. He's not a bad QB but NY is such a meat grinder for QBs in particular they need someone with experience and some talent with that good Defense and some good RB/WRs
already in place.
Hawktawk wrote:Lance just had another surgery to remove hardware that was causing issues .
I dunno . I’d have to look at the body of work but white typically plays better and he had a very bad rib injury .
If I’m the Jets and burned a #2 overall on Wilson I’d think twice about doing that again .
If I’m the Jets I’m rolling pat , fix the o line , bolster the defense . Wilson is useless in trade . Have an open competition in camp between he and White . Maybe Genos pep talk will light a spark . I believe in White though . Seattle had a good game against a sore qb . I give us credit for our 6th good defensive effort of the year .
Hawktawk wrote:I did a deeper dig on White. hes had a few monster games and a few similar to yesterday. probably not the guy going forward anyway. The Jets are a team that should take a look at Carr or Geno if he hits the open market. That would be ironic.
