No backs

Not exactly. We have Homer healthy and likely starting . The Jones kid will play . K9 and Dee Jay likely not . Bellore is the only other option and he’s a fullback . It makes a game vs a team we are supposed to beat much harder . Might need Geno to carry the offense again .

Homer gonna carry it. Dude is like a poor man’s CMC. Yes Geno will freaking handle the rest. All good. Except for my fantasy team! *Side-note, Homer is my handcuff As RB2

Even with those guys healthy, our running game isn't what it was a month ago. Defenses seem to have figured us out. That's the main reason why I'm a bit on the pessimistic side this game.

I love Homer . He just gets hurt a lot Let’s see how this kid that played blind last week does. Our run game has suffered / K9 has been dogging us. I’m officially concerned about our stud back . Our odds of making the playoffs are still decent but unless we have a credible run game and some more defense it will br a short ride if we get there .

Homer is a solid 3rd down back as he's a good blocker and receiver out of the backfield, but he's not a bell cow that can put up a 100 yard game. He was 4th on the depth chart at the start of the season.

I think Homer can put up 100. Maybe more. Just N.F. L.
as the late great Jerry Glanville said "not for long". his slight frame may be why hes down the depth chart but hes probably our most athletic back after Walker. Hes demonstrated his burst on a couple of huge ST plays housing a fake punt vs the 9ers and also housing an onsides attempt vs the Jags. He looked really sharp at times in the preseason. We need him today and hopefully we can get KWs panties untangled for next week. How you go from some tissue inflammation nobody ever heard of to likely missing most of a second game....Apologies to Beast Mode for any references. He would be taped up and playing.

I think this might be Travis Homeruns first start. Maybe channel a little Baker . Its his chance to show seattle and the league he can run the ball. I hope he can as I think this is going to be a rock fight and so does Huard and I'm sure PC as well. Were playing against the QB who got the great Baker Mayfield cut      They bring in extra linemen. Smash mouth. For the second time in 3 weeks were playing a team that is coming off a win and a bye and were supposed to walk on them averaging giving up 200 yards rushing?
Fasten your seat belts.

I'm worried about Walker. Those non contact injuries can be some of the worst ones to get.
Even if he comes back this year, I wouldn't be surprised to hear of him having surgery in the off season.

Another reason to draft a good RB again this year and there are a number of them.

I was listening to Pete today on Brock and Salk . He said K9 is practicing today .

So let me get it straight . He couldn’t play Sunday but he’s running Monday . I wonder if Pete held him out expecting to get the win and then play him vs the 9ers . I’m truly concerned we’ve drafted a soft back . Hope not .

There are varying levels of practice so saying he couldn’t play one day doesn’t mean he could have played the day before.
It might be that he could always run but couldn’t make cuts and still can’t at game speed but it’s getting better.
That might be why he’s going to be designated day to day.

Doesnt really matter, we are done. Even though I predicted it, You cannot lose to a Carolina at home to Darnold, and be a playoff team. We are a mediocre team, better than I thought but not as good as HT would have liked to have hoped.

I just heard a few minutes ago that Walker is day-to-day. I haven't heard anything about DJ Dallas.

But the Niners lost Deebo Sunday, which is huge. The speculation is that he has a high ankle sprain and might miss the rest of the regular season.

High Ankle sprain River, could come back for the Playoffs. I expect them to be in NFC title game, at Philly.

According to PFT the 9ers expect him back before the end of this season.

I heard Samuel is day to day and listed as questionable for thursday. Yesterday pete said KW is dealing with an old injury that popped back up.

I'm still concerned. When there's no sprain or tear its self reported pain that is the determining factor. It hurts.
Beyond that my last impression on the football field was him screaming at Geno on the sidelines after blowing a block leading to a sack when Geno came over to address it. At least 3 times he busted plays running the wrong way on handoffs. his efforts vs the Bucs and Raiders were pathetic. Homer had more yards and a better YPC Sunday than KW had his last 2 full games and Homer was bad but there was a maximum effort, no question about that.
I dont want to be right about any of it because hes got amazing potential but KW is looking like a malingering head case to me.
