Looked at the time the league sending their poster boy to Germany to represent the league and picking a full rebuild mode dog meat team from the west coast for a further disadvantage in time lag and travel time and guarantee his highness won’t be embarrassed .
But ru ro he’s embarrassing himself . So what’s gonna happen ?
On paper if we go off the last month it’s easy . They surrender 4.6 per rush . Nobody can deal with our offense , our trifecta , skill people . Geno is among league leaders in everything , leading in explosive TDs. Vs cover 2,3,4, all disguised coverages . For a comparison Russ was league worst vs cover 4 last year .
Our O is legit .
Our D went from worst to first . We’ve played 4 mobile athletic QBs in a row , now we get the whining baby statue cursing out his line with less than 20 sacks .
He’s gonna get punished . He’s gonna look bad .

Hawktawk wrote:I fear officiating in this game . Have since I saw it on the schedule .After being ready to turn it off after the Saints debacle we’ve been treated to a month of good officiating and it’s no coincidence it’s our longest win streak in 8 years .
If we get anything approaching the professional officiating we’ve had recently we’re gonna kick Brady right into retirement .
Hawktawk wrote:I fear officiating . Period . It’s not a conspiracy theory or if it is millions subscribe to it . Before XL I made a post predicting a big win with one caveat “ watch the refs “ . Indeed.
It was clearly the difference in the saints game this year . Since then it’s been beautiful . Bad calls are not an excuse . They are a game robber and the better the opponent the less calls or even more importantly no calls vs an opponent your team can absorb . So stop with the good teams should overcome bad calls . They can’t always . When one team can commit certain fouls and the other can’t .
So we will all watch the game and if it’s called clean I expect the younger , more motivated , more talented at almost every position on offense including the qb in 22 there Tompa to blow Tampa out . I hear a lot more excuses about why we’re more talented then anyone but me thought honestly . Our opponents suck , blah blah blah .
We should kill them . Bad
Let’s see .we get the saints crew we’re losing . If it’s well officiated and we stumble I suppose we can’t use another 8 hours in the air and teeing it up at 6:30 pacific time as an excuse either mr no excuses ?
Hawktawk wrote:And I hate the international series . I’ve heard there’s lots of Seahawks fans in Germany. Good . I’m sure they have TVs . If they wanna see a game fly over here . I despise it . My goal as a fan is for my team to win as many games each year as possible . I could care less about Germany . Or England or anywhere else . Goodell go to hell .I’m
Pissed as hell about getting up at 4:30 on a Sunday in the middle of winter to prep fir this stupid game .

NorthHawk wrote:That being said, with a 17 game schedule, no team should lose a home game for these international events. I think it's a poke in the eye of the local fan base.

I don't mind international games; but I haven't been willing to spend the cheddar on a cable package to get all the live games. Not all their fault; I live way out of market.

Aseahawkfan wrote:If we beat Tampa Bay, we're surely going to the playoffs. We should beat Tampa unless the refs want to let Tom Brady win one in from of Germany.
I'm saying Seahawks 27 to 16.
Aseahawkfan wrote:I'm not usually one for conspiracy theories, but Tom Brady seems to get more than his fair share of penalties to make sure Tom Terrific can try for one last shot at a win in many tight games. I hope we can blow up the Tampa Bay team so there is no chance for any end of game calls to give Tom his chance to be The Man again.
RiverDog wrote:Yeah, and a boxing champ gets breaks from the ref, has to be beaten decisively in order to lose. Michael Jordan got away with traveling ten times more often than any random rookie. An umpire that wouldn't bat an eye at calling a 3rd strike on a .200 hitter thinks twice about it on an MVP. It's not a conspiracy. It's called a bias.

In other news our native born German Donker was disqualified from playing because the Seahawks needed to move him over 3 weeks earlier as a European developmental player . Waiver for a guy whose gonna play a few snaps in his home country for this wonderful event ? Nah. Sat and watched NFL network suck Brady’s . For 30 minutes straight “ oh he saved their season ! They have their mojo back “ they showed some fans , all Brady Jersey wearing in a stadium over half full of Seahawks fans . Willie Mcginest grinning from ear to ear .
It’s a setup . We gotta be perfect .

MackStrongIsMyHero wrote:Defense had some lapses, but still corralled Brady and Co. for 21 points.
Biggest issues for me. Geno. That’s not to say he didn’t make some plays, but he botched two big ones:
1. Not taking off on that 3rd and 2 roll out with lots of green in front him.
2. Red Zone fumble in a 5 wide set. Either throw it or take off but don’t hesitate. Throw it away if you have to.
Those were huge.
Aseahawkfan wrote:Man, they stuffed Walker hard. This is our weakness. If we get stuffed on the run, Geno can't quite elevate to overcome it. Geno had a very solid game, but when the run game isn't working you need more than a very solid game.
