It sucks. IMO its not a time to be discussing the bust hes obviously become and our defense isn't as dynamic without him . I pray for his recovery as a human being first and foremost. He was apparently so upset people had to stay with him in the locker room to console him. It seems to be never ending for this franchise. I cant think of many teams that have been torn up with injuries over the last half decade as Seattle .
Good luck Jamaal.

I wish him the best too, but he is done for the season and its time to call him a bust. You do not give 2 first rounders for a Box safety HT, it was Colossally dumb. However, I am willing to concede that it wasnt Jamal's fault that the Jets saw Mr Used Car Salesman coming.

The problem with Adams never was with his determination or his likability as a teammate. All reports are that he's a first class guy, a dedicated hard working player.

But those attributes are bonuses, and not qualities that can trump other deficiencies. The fact is that he's a one trick pony that can be utilized in very limited number of scenarios, those that require that we make some other sacrifice or assume some other risk. Quarterbacks are wary of him. He's a liability in pass coverage and he's not a ball hawk. He was brought in during a time when we had an absolutely horrible pass rush and a defense that was on pace to break statistical records that no one wants to own. Pete panicked, was desperate and overpaid for him in an effort to address what was a huge embarrassment for a coach that prided himself on his defensive prowess.

Yes, Adams was snake bit with injuries. If that were the only problem with this trade, I would have more sympathy for those who made it. But even without the injuries, it was one of, if not the worst, trades in franchise history, made worse by the contract we signed him to earlier this year. For me, personally, it was the straw that broke the camel's back and caused me to jump off of Pete's bandwagon.

He probably leads the league in balls bouncing off his face mask the last couple of years.

Catching the ball isn’t his strong suit . He had 2 last year. The 1 Monday was a tough catch , bang bang . But he was a 3 time all pro . None of it is the point . Point is a guy like that that makes us better whatever his shortcoming ( every player has some ) is this devastating injury just isn’t the time to pile on the guy or on Pete and John . yeah it did not work . Can we say it again ? Jesus . Big Fn deal . Lots of their moves have .

We will go play a team that is starting a guy they gave a boatload for but they resigned the guy they threw away because they were afraid he would be able to beat their new guy with a division rival . Got it …. So if Pete goes and wins with this band of castaways who is more screwed up ? Once again we are playing with house money . Another loss puts Frisco 2 down and in crisis .

A minor upgrade from McDougald and almost definitely a big loss of talent considering we also gave up
2 firsts and a 3rd.

Yup. Adams might have been a Pro Bowler with the Jets, but even when healthy, as a Seahawk, he's been average at best as his superior pass rushing skills cancels out his inferior pass coverage/ball hawking ability. Horrible, horrible trade.

Once again, you're stretching the truth. Adams was first team all pro once, in 2019 with the Jets. He was a pro bowler 3 times (2018-20). Probably just an oversight, but you keep making those types of mistakes in one direction, towards your narrative.

Why is it not "time to pile on the guy or on Pete and John"? Is there some sort of moratorium when a player gets injured, say 30 days, where we can't say anything negative? You're acting like the guy passed away and that we should be expressing our condolences rather than discussing his weaknesses as a player.

You need to feel sympathy for athletes paid more in one year than you earned in a lifetime. And head coaches who have earned hundreds of millions of dollars too. And GM millionaires too.

Just like multimillionaire QBs need to be relentlessly insulted and called divas and selfish and piled on as well.

Because all these millionaires in football are having their feelings hurt and feeling so terrible while they're wiping their tears with their millions, while blue collar workers make excuses for them on forums like they're buddies.

You need to get with the program RD and start feeling sympathy for millionaires and billionaires in the NFL and professional sports in general.

That was worth 3 laughing heads.

I. too, noticed the hypocritical nature of complaining about someone noting a player's weaknesses without any kind of name calling AT ALL vs. calling a certain somebody a weasel, a little emperor, etc.

Here we go attack HT. Funny how I’m a dirtbag for saying nicer things about Russ than 60 K people did Monday . You accuse me of making it all about Russ all the time and I’m beat over the head ON A JAAMAAL ANDERSON POST !!!!for holding correct and majority opinions of thr little Emperor who couldn’t stop talking sh1t till kickoff . Huge difference between selling out your body 100-% to win and checking out and selling out your team to leave . If you don’t get it it’s your problem . The 12s get it . Not sure which side some of you limp wristed fans are on . Might want to check out Baldwins post game meme if you think it was all sweetness and light .

Get over Russ. He’s gone . I’m thrilled . Go Davis mills !!! Destroy him .

I did not bring up Russ in this OP. It was those who think I’m ridiculous to suggest Adams injury might not be the time to pile on him and Pete for about the 1000th time . The topic of a guy who plays too recklessly with his body trying to help my team and the whole Russel drama me first show are not related beyond the Jersey color. If Russ still had Jamaals hunger we would have more than 1.

Is that all you got ? Negativity constantly about our team and coach and kissing ass on someone who is gone , doesn’t care about you , never really did . If you bring it up I’ll always respond . Proud to stand in a principled majority .
