Level and usually 100 . I hope it’s a good game as much for him as me if not more . He shops around and as a retired MCD exec he has connections but I know this was spendy. I had told him I though we had a chance in the game and next I heard I was going . I’ve never gotten to the point where I game shop based on economics .
I will be at a weird historical game and I hope I’m screaming ride it back to denver donkeys with a whisper of a voice .
Hawktawk wrote:We always stay and always at the edgewater . My buddy is a creature of habit . We Uber to sluggers a few hours before the game to front end load . After the game it depends how it went what’s next . Over the years it’s been everything from a jazz bar where we were the only 2 white people to a gentleman’s club . We’re getting old now so probably a nightcap at the edgewater and to bed . Being with a friend like Dale is the highlight and he sees it the same . We both hate losing . It will matter . Looking forward to it after a 3 year sabbatical .
Hawktawk wrote:Just read another attention grabbing quote from Russell . He was talking about what an amazing 10 years he had in Seattle but said the reason he wanted to come to Denver was because he knew they had “ mental leaders “ already and so it wasn’t all going to be on his shoulders anymore .
I apologize for my inability to link by phone but it’s what the man reportedly said . The amount of blackboard material produced pre game by Russ is astronomical . This is going to be a war . So excited !
Aseahawkfan wrote:Russ gotta lose come the 12th. We gotta beat him, start the Broncos on the track down. Improve our draft status by beating the Broncos.
Broncos must be beaten. We gotta take them down anyway we can.
We may not agree on this team, but one thing we can agree on is the Broncos must be beat. That is a huge priority. As far as I'm concerned beating the Broncos and starting them on a downward spiral is our Super Bowl this year.
Hawktawk wrote:Wow . Sad story . Really sad you couldn’t stand up for the rag better than that. How about replying well he doesn’t cost 50 million and he wants to be here . Good luck wih Russ . We’re beating his ass in the opener with our clumsy crappy ugly looking qb .
I think Sherm was right . Most Seahawks fans are absolute wusses . Almost all when it comes to this Russell to Denver thing .
F Denver . Screw Russ . We need to send a message and all you Geno Haters need to hear it to . Bring it on .
trents wrote:So let's put aside all the frustrations, fanboy pride, anger, disappointments, bravado and all the emotional stuff and get down to where the rubber hits the road. What do you predict the final score will be for the Hawks-Broncos game? What are the strong points and weal points of each team and how will it play out in the course of the game and what will be the final outcome?
Here's what I see:
1. Denver has some advantage on defense. In fact, almost every team we play will have that. We will have poor penetration at the LOS and poor tackling.
2. Special teams may give Denver a slight advantage. Except for Jason Meyer, our special teams play was abysmal last year and I saw nothing in preseason to believe it has improved.
3. Offense: Hawks will have some advantage on the ground but Broncos have the better QB. Although, Russ has to contend with learning a new system so there will be some plays where the Bronco offensive gang will not be on the same page. G. Smith has the advantage of having played in the same system for awhile but he does not have the talent that Russ has. Hawks may have the advantage when it comes to the receiving corps.
Prediction: Broncos 24, Seahawks 16.

Maybe was dead. There was piss everywhere and so much poverty and mental illness. But at least the Mariners are kicking ass! The city needs to figure out some stuff.
On a related note I’ll be attending the mnf game too! Very concerned we will get embarrassed, but hope I’m very wrong!
Hawktawk wrote:It needs its own thread but for now …….Russ spent the summer jet setting around the globe having his people he surrounds himself with keep him up to date on the offense (per Hackett) he was described by the editor of denver fan .com as “ underwhelming “ in TC
He didn’t take a snap in the preseason and he’s coming to match up with a defensive coach who knows him better then he knows himself . Their roster couldn’t make the playoffs for over half a Decade . We got Fant who Geno will abuse linebackers with over and over because he throws in the middle , and Harris a nice defender .
We have a fired up coach , team and fans in prime time . Geno is the most disrespected Seattle QB in history and he’s got a big surprise coming with a far superior skill set to utilize .
Seattle 27-donkeys 13.

Hawktawk wrote:Holy cow, HT! Now Russell is a little weasel and a mouthy A-hole? I realize that you've lost a lot of respect for him as I have, too, but come on, man! How can you in one breath defend Geno, who after driving drunk at 95+ mph and telling a policeman that he has little d*ck syndrome, then in the next breath call Russell Wilson, a man who as a rookie made it a habit to spend his one day off a week in Children's Hospital entertaining terminally ill kids, an A-hole?
Can we stop with trying to lump Russell’s off field charities with his behavior as a member and former member of my 45 year obsession. Most stars have charity’s and Russ has always seemed sincere in that regard . It doesn’t excuse his behavior as a pro athlete and it’s not got a god damn thing to do with Genos DUI .
Only an asshole would leave guys who fought for him , stood up for him and say he’s got “ mental leaders already here and it’s not all on my shoulders anymore “ . Richard Sherman’s re tweet with 100 laugh emoji about covers it . There were the comments about going to a winning city “ a city that knows how to win . All this after basically demanding out with his weasel agent then trying to have it both ways , saying he’s glad to leave but it wasn’t his idea . It was , in the words of Wyman, a forced rebuild . I would have more respect had he pulled a mayfield and said I’m out of here and took the pr hit .
Yeah as a Seahawks qb he was a weasel . As a former teammate of my team he’s a disrespectful asshole. It’s not like he was a backup guard . This was the face of the franchise spinning out like this . Proud of the fact I have eyes to see . Best and worst qb we ever had .

Only asshole would cut a player who gave everything he had ever year to help the team win without complaining. So if you had any consistent belief system whatsoever you would be mad at Pete and John for cutting Bobby like they did, but you just kept making excuses for treating a veteran player who did everything he could for the team for over a decade.
You're so full of it. Such a damn hypocrite and just always pretending you aren't. I could stomach listen to this looney hypocritical BS that spews forth from your mouth in person. It's bad enough you spew on this forum.

Hawktawk wrote:What happened to Bobby was sad and I think everyone including Pete and John wishes it had gone smoother . Again it’s a separate topic from your franchise qb putting pressure on the organization to either let him run the show or trade him , spent at least the last 4 off-season speeches complaining about the roster publicly , talking about personal off field projects in season ending pressers . I do not recognize the dude anymore . I met him , shook his hand outside the edgewater with his wife Ashton in 2012. That fresh faced sincere go hawks sold out guy is gone . I’d never have believed Russ would be saying what he’s saying . You do understand when he’s talking about mental leaders in Denver it’s a slap at Bobby , at Lockett who he will greatly miss , at Duane Brown who was loyal as a Dog while his career numbers were being degraded by a guy running into sacks . I guess I better watch my mouth too but I would not want him as a teammate these days . My guess is there’s already Denver guys casting a wary eye on this great leader .
The addition by subtraction factor is greater than I even thought , every new word out of his mouth is fuel for the fire .

The only reason I'm going after HT is I am tired of him being able to make constant personal attacks on Russell Wilson without a peep form anyone on this forum.
Why anyone considers that ok is beyond me.
