my wife doesn't want to move to the West Coast.
I know some people who never considered moving out West until they came here for an extended visit.

That might tell you if it's a WC bias or not wanting to move so far from home as Hawaii is another couple of thousand miles further West.

They moved here and now don't know why they didn't do it sooner.
Even though the whole rain thing is completely overblown the fact that it's overcast so much can really weigh on some folks and cause depression.
