So, we get two Thursday games? I thought all teams only got 1.. but, I guess opening on a Thursday is not the same thing. Should be a great game.

Every year is different, but right now with our current roster, we are as good - and in most cases better - than any opponent on our 2014 schedule.

Stay healthy, and we have an Excellent shot at repeating.

EDIT: The #4 bye week does blow, though.

5 out of our last 6 are division games, with no divisional opponent until week 7 (Rams). This means the 49ers will have Bowman back, but I'm not sure if Aldon Smith plays at all this season, or even if the 49ers keep him for 2014. Maybe he'll end up being cut, I dunno.

Week 15. vs. 49ers
Week 16. at Cardinals (Sunday night)
Week 17. vs. Rams
A couple things stand out to me.
1. The nearly back to back niner games, week 13 and 15, with a trip to Philly in between. Havent looked to see who SF plays in between. I wonder why the schedule makers did that.
2. Of our 4 Primetime games, only one is at the Clink. Again I wonder why they did that. You would think they would reward the SB champions and the 12th man with at least one other primetime game at the premier NFL venue.
3. Looks like only three early games. PC and the team seems to have figured out their early game issues, but it is still nice to only have to worry about it thrice.
4. The week 4 bye blows. Hopefully we can secure the first round playoff bye again or that is gonna be a long stretch to the super bowl.

5 of last 6 v NFC West? Not sure I have ever seen a schedule that is backloaded so heavily with division games. That means the division will most likely be up in the air until late in the season.

I see that in between the two Hawks v. Niners games while the Hawks fly to Philly, the Niners are @ Oakland, virtually a home game against a much inferior opponent. Also the Niners have their division games spread out whereas the Hawks play 5 of their last six games against division rivals. Kind of brutal.
